This is the feedback thread for the Mumsnet users who have been testing Stikins stick on name labels. This product was open to UK Mumsnet users who have at least one child at primary school.

The website was very easy to use. I had no problem navigating it to place my order. The pages were well laid out.

The service was excellent. I had an email straight away after I placed my order at 1pm explaining the next steps and when I could expect to receive my order. It also gave contect details incase there was a problem or if I needed to change my order. Within 2 hours I then received a despatch email. The stickers came the next morning in the post. I was a really fast service!

The order arrived in a plain envelope that fitted through the letterbox so you don't need to be in to receive it. The stickers come in a protective cellophane wrapper with complete instructions on how to use them.

The stickers are incredibly easy to use, just stick them on where needed, no ironing or anything else needed! The instructions tell you how to stick them to different items.

So far so good, every sticker is still in place and the print and finish is like new. I think we need a longer timeframe to really put them to the test though!

Answer: Website was very easy to use and the ordering process was very simple. Only problem I had was that I was using an iPad and the address autofilled the county box as my first line of my address. This was very easy to change though.

Answer: Very pleased with the service. I did receive 2 identical order confirmation emails though. The email was very informative and let me know everything I needed to know.

Answer: the labels arrived the next day which is super speedy. They were packaged really well in clear bags which are helpful for storing the labels in too. The instructions were really clear and helpful.

Answer: They were so easy to use. No ironing or sewing is such a time saver. The instructions were very helpful.

Answer: I stuck the labels onto a t shirt for preschool, a summer hat and a drinks bottle.

Answer: The labels all still look like they have just been applied. The drinks bottle has been through the dishwasher at least 5 times and it’s still very firmly in place. The hat and top have both been washed at least twice in the washing machine and also are still firmly stuck.

All very easy to use - I definitely appreciated that these did not need to be ironed on, unlike others I’ve used in the past! Instructions were very clear.

Super simple. You literally just peel and stick. So much easier than iron or sew-in labels.

These are definitely the easiest to use name labels I have seen. However, I (and my young children) would prefer more colourful labels perhaps with pictures as they are used to the beautiful tinyme labels.

Very easy to peel off and stick down. So easy I wondered if they would just peel off again but they didn't!

It's a very simple and uncluttered website therefore easy to use and navigate. I had to go back a few times because I couldn't decide on having the name on one or two lines and didnt manage to break it. It did remember some some of the radio button choices but I reset them and it was fine.

It was extremely fast dispatch considering it's a custom made product. I was amazed with the speed. Very simple and smooth transaction so no complaints at all.

The packaging is great. I like how the labels come in sheets of 30 and each 30 is separate. The instructions on on the storage bag so you can read them as you remove the labels.

The outer postage envelope says Stikins all over it so its immediately identifiable in my pile of "stuff"

Yes very very easy. So much better than sewung name tapes into clothes. As long as your careful not to touch the sticky side its zero effort. Great for new school years when there are mountains of things to name. They are very sticky and a few rubs and they are very secure

Easy to navigate - clear and concise. I did have an issue when I went back after making an error with what payment I was using and then had no basket so had to go through the order process again which was a bit of a faff. I did input this feedback onto the site.

Yes, it is really easy. Literally as it says, just stick it on. I have used other name labels that needed ironing which is a hassle. This stick on is absolutely easy to use.

I have put the clothes through wash and dryer at least 3 times now, labels are absolutely fine, no sticky edges, no distorted tabs. Labels also survived dish washer well.

Obviously good that they could be posted through the letterbox. I didn't pay too much attention to the packaging but the information was enough to get me started.

I stuck one onto the washing label of a school sweatshirt, one on the size/brand label at the neck and one on a lunchbox.

Have washed the sweatshirts less than 10 times. Labels holding up well but hard to say what they'd be like after a year's wear. However, I'd rather have to replace them every term than have to iron or sew them in!

I didn't review them but mine have washed off my daughters clothes! They end up at the bottom of the washing machine. I've noticed a lot of the others that haven't yet washed off are peeling off at the edges. Definitely not as hard wearing as the claim to be.

My Son had swimming lessons for two weeks so this was a real test for the labels, so he lost his towel and hip hip hooray the swimming centre handed it back to him the next day because of the label. Also put them on his uniform, lunchbox and bag but unfortunately it would not stick to the swimming goggles.

The labels arrived about 36 hours after I ordered them. Email was pretty clear.

The packaging was good, I liked that it was really obvious from the outside what it was, so the envelope didn't get put aside with boring bills etc. The information included was clear & easy to follow.

Labels were easy to remove from the backing, & the instructions were simple.

I put the labels into some new shoes we'd recently bought for DD, a few school clothing items, & a pot she uses for grapes etc for snacks.

The labels stayed on completely fine. I put the ones in DD's shoes, on the sole, where the arch of her foot goes, so there would be minimal pressure - but she has quite sweaty feet so not all stickers do stay in. These did though, they've not moved at all or even come up at the corners. The clothes have been washed a few times & no labels have washed off so far. I was worried DD might pick at them, as she has ASD & also long hair that could get stuck to them if they peel at the edges, but it's not been a problem.
