Multiple award winner Jim Parsons, who's best known for playing Sheldon Cooper in the sitcom The Big Bang Theory, is in town to talk about his new film HOME.

Jim's going to be answering your questions direct to camera so now's your chance to get them down and line 'em up here. We'll select the best of the bunch and see what he has to say about The Big Bang Theory, HOME and all things quirky.

In his latest film, Jim will feature as the voice of Oh, a loveable misfit from another planet who lands on Earth and finds himself on the run from his own people. An unlikely friendship with an adventurous girl named Tip (Rihanna) takes him on a series of comic adventures, and while he changes her planet and she changes his world, they discover the true meaning of the word HOME.

HOME will be released in cinemas across the UK on Friday 20th March 2015.

I'd like to know his favourite episode of TBBT and why.

SugarMiceInTheRain · 17/02/2015 10:31

Oooh I'm so excited! We're big fans of TBBT in our house and our eldest is like a mini Sheldon. I'd like to know what Jim finds the hardest thing about portraying the character of Sheldon. Lots of love for Jim Parsons here Grin

QuietNinjaTardis · 17/02/2015 10:40

Can't think of a question right now but love you Jim! You're fab in the Big Bang theory Thanks

iklboo · 17/02/2015 10:43

I'd like to know how much say he gets in the development of Sheldon's character - and his wardrobe!

DrElizabethPlimpton · 17/02/2015 10:54

I wondered if you knew how remarkable your fore fathers were before you filmed 'Who do you think you are?'

fuzzpig · 17/02/2015 11:23
Shock

Sheldon has a lot of phobias. Jim, do you have any?

shanks313 · 17/02/2015 11:24

I want to say I absolutely loved The Normal Heart and what was his best moment working on the film

Notrevealingmyidentity · 17/02/2015 11:34

I'd like to know how he gets in to the character of sheldon and if there's anything specific he does.

MrsCakesPrecognition · 17/02/2015 11:38

How exciting!
We went to the cinema yesterday and saw the trailer for Home. DD and DS chorused "That's Sheldon".

ineedausername · 17/02/2015 11:42

Just wanted to say that I adore TBBT and was very excited when I spotted you in Judging Amy one day, although I find it discombobulating when you aren't 'Sheldon' :)

Are you anything like Sheldon in real life?

KenAdams · 17/02/2015 11:47

Where does he see Shamy going from here?

Please pass on my congratulations for how awesome The Normal Heart was too.

Baddz · 17/02/2015 11:48

Jim, my 11 year old son loves Sheldon! :)
Do you think Sheldon's character traits make him childlike as he views his world in a very black and white way, like children do?
Something is either bad or good/right or wrong.
We love TBBT in this house :)

spookyskeleton · 17/02/2015 12:02

Me and my DH are very late converts to TBBT (as in we only discovered it about 4 months ago Blush) so spend many hours watching as many episodes as we can!

My question I often ask is why do the others tolerate Sheldon as he is usually mean to them with no consideration for their views or feelings? What is it that ties them together so they put up with his behaviour?

Baddz · 17/02/2015 12:03

He is like an adult toddler! :)

DanFmDorking · 17/02/2015 12:29

Jim,
Do you like British humour and what makes you laugh?
Dan.

DanFmDorking · 17/02/2015 12:38

Jim,
I enjoy the formulae and diagrams on the set of TBBT.
Who writes them and are they legitimate?
Dan.

DanFmDorking · 17/02/2015 12:50

Jim,
Which do you prefer, theatre or television work, and why?
Dan.

DanFmDorking · 17/02/2015 12:58

Jim,
What did you want to be at school?
Did you always want to be an actor?
What was your first success?
What is you next project?
Have you been to the UK before?
Where do you want to visit in the UK?
Dan.

DinosaursStillExist · 17/02/2015 12:59

Another house of fans of your work here too, Jim. Including knowing looks between my partner and I when we hear you on one of the kids' films.

As a follow on from that we'd like to know which work you prefer; your TV series work, or film roles?

My partner would also like to know if you actually like trains Wink and what animal would you be if you could choose any, and why? (Don't know what he intends to learn from that?!)

Looking forward to the next film Grin

RosieCassMuggins · 17/02/2015 13:05

Jim, do you think it would be helpful to the many people functioning well in the world with Asperger traits if The Big Bang Theory talked more openly about Asperger Syndrome?

Asperger Syndrome in adults seems to suffer from a massive public taboo, yet everyone loves Sheldon. I have read the producers saying that, according to the back story, Sheldon was taken by his mum for assessment as a child but never got a diagnosis - or something like that.

I just think it's a shame to see Asperger Syndrome addressed so clearly and sympathetically in such a massively popular series - without ever mentioning the traits which dare not speak their name.

payuktaxrichardbranson · 17/02/2015 13:14

When you go to restaurants and similar do people ask you if you are happy with the seating arrangements? How do you react if they do?

ThinkIveBeenHacked · 17/02/2015 13:18

Sheldon aside, what has been your most favourite role played and why?

jenniferfreckles · 17/02/2015 13:20

Jim,
How on earth do you manage to keep a straight face when filming?! I'm guessing some scenes have had many, many takes!!
Jenny

SistersOfPercy · 17/02/2015 13:23

Jim, whats the one thing you never leave 'home' without?

Emmalovesjim124 · 17/02/2015 13:24

Are you excited to be back on Broadway, especially playing God?
