Is it ok to wear trainer socks or not?

We need a definitive answer here.

poisson · 04/07/2006 18:30

snort

poisson · 04/07/2006 18:31

?jellery wiht swimwear or not

? swimwear generally - hwo to find cheap bkinis that are mad of more than a postage stamp of material - ones for big norks cost a bomb.

?smart casual - what DOES that mean

treacletart · 05/07/2006 11:03

How can a size 16+ 32H norked woman keep cool and look halfway decent when its really hot and avoid looking like Hattie Jacques. BTW noone makes strapless bras in 32H and flowy things tend to make me look like Hattie Jacques.

WelshBoris · 05/07/2006 11:04

poissons headscarf- yes or no?

hermykne · 05/07/2006 11:27

oliveoil · 05/07/2006 11:32

black for a wedding? Yes or no

Fimbo · 05/07/2006 11:33

Oooh I like her - wasn't she on that style prog yonks ago with Liza Tarbuck?

Cappucino · 05/07/2006 11:33

what can I buy in the summer sales that I will put away and forget about and then be able to drag out next year as soon as the sun comes out

EmmyLou · 05/07/2006 11:34

Where's the best place to buy jeans for a 5'4" size 14 woman (who has the tummy associated with having had 3 children and a passion for dark chocolate and guiness)and who gets disorientated just looking at the jeans shelves in Gap?

Low rise creates muffin top explosion, 'long and lean' are too long and prevent movement/breathing. Added stretch are comfy, but not as flattering and bulk up round already bulky tummy.

Help - I keep wasting money

EmmyLou · 05/07/2006 11:35

I miss Liza Tarbuck. I want her to be my best friend.

hermykne · 05/07/2006 11:36

Ledodgyherring · 05/07/2006 11:36

I miss her too, can we have Lisa tarbuck on here for an online chat as well please.

Carmenere · 05/07/2006 11:38

Are pencil skirts over already???

mousie · 05/07/2006 12:47

Ok, really comfortable shoes with heels. I am short and need the height - and my legs aren't great so i need the shape too. But as a mum I spent my whole time running around with buggies etc - so comfort is paarmount. Do you get what you pay for in shoes? Would love to know where to get lovely shoes that last, look great and that I can walk my socks off in..

MrsBadger · 05/07/2006 14:12

One can fake daily stylishness with zero time and effort in winter by wearing a really good coat (and possibly boots) and in spring by wearing a fitted jacket, but what is the summer equivalent?

crunchie · 05/07/2006 14:19

LiliLaTigresse · 05/07/2006 17:48

cheap jewellery: what to go for?
I seem to spend hours looking at it never to find anything I actually like. Does it mean I am high maintenance (think I know the answer to that one...)?

puff · 05/07/2006 17:49

A fimble - they are on cbeebies

Scumster · 05/07/2006 17:51

No, no, puff. I know about the fimbles. I meant who's this Angela? I've never heard of her. Is she a style guru I should know about?
