MrsBadger; I think cropped jackets for summer. its a good look over most things; a great updater for your wardrobe, and they tuck into a bag really easily too, so you can whip it out on the way home.. I like Miss Selfridges mini-trenches; they're a trench shaped cropped jacket; they great worn open, and they're made of something silky so can be squashed up in a bag...

NormaSnorks · 06/07/2006 22:25

Poisson - lucky you/ nice sister! Mine was a birthday present from an old friend who clearly no longer knows me 'cos the actual present was a strange flowery turd-coloured affair, so I went and changed it...

(P.S. I think I love you by the way, 'cos I keep agreeing with you on different things across the board)

poisson · 06/07/2006 22:26

lol

or see through bra s traps

AngelaButtolph · 06/07/2006 22:29

I would recommend lots of looser t-shirty tops (v cool right now) to be worn with long city shorts/ or cropped to just below the knee jeans. then wear with cropped jackets and either little ballet pumps or roman sandals. also like the leggings under sundresses option, even though this seems to have deeply distressed some of the mumsnet mums!!

southeastastra · 06/07/2006 22:30

city shorts

Cappucino · 06/07/2006 22:30

Can my 2 year old son wear pink sandals if he likes?

He was in love with some pink shoooooos! yesterday, but I nudged him towards the brown ones (which he does love too) - but he did spend time stroking the shiny black ones with the pink trim and the pink sandals with flowers on the front...

Pollyanna · 06/07/2006 22:32

Thanks Angela. Agree with shorts, but can't see myself in leggings - I have vague memories of wearing these long ago with doc martins -

hunkermunker · 06/07/2006 22:32
