Sorry to introduce a new theory at this late stage, but I’m fairly convinced that CF is himself a former midfield player for Aston Villa or similar. Consider: arrogance bordering on sociopathy; an assumption that people will do things for him; just because; giant car, hanging with X2 and mentioning it so casually. I think he’s been expecting to trade in his former local glory in parking wherever he likes , and neither OP nor DB have a clue who is and therefore it’s not working.

Yep! He did indeed forget where he parked the car.

You did not want them on your land to begin with so why are you annoyed you are not legally allowed to clamp them? Yes you were right to lock them in to teach them a lesson but surely you are now wasting your own time by dragging this on. Open the gate and get on with your life.
