FC = forestry commission

@MrsJuliaGulia

Damn. Have just ploughed through all 4 threads (foregoing series 2 of Baptiste) and am disappointed there is no resolution as of yet. It’s taken longer than it otherwise would have as I’ve had to resort to google for a few times. -what is a ranger -what does FC stand for (some interesting links) -who is Paul Kitson -where is Montrose Farmers Market (Colorado?)

Even though it’s Monday, I also feel the need to experience Toby Carvery. Guess I’ll need to google that one too.

Adding my approval to the list for DB.

I predict this will go to 6 threads.

FC is Forestry Commission

^Very near neighbour is a journalist with the P&J. Another
Neighbour is a reporter with the BBC and they are always looking for a story.^

Montrose man becomes unlikely heart throb.

"Montrose man starts new life in Abergavenny under police personal protection scheme!"

WeBuiltThisBuffetOnSausageRoll · 02/08/2021 22:50

pointy triangle fail

DoctorTwo · 02/08/2021 22:51

I have read all ofthese threads with my mouth open in surprise. This man is a proper cheeky fucker.

cazisalittlenuts · 02/08/2021 22:52

Hes clearly playing yahtzee with dwight yorke.

Both tossers.

Add me to the DB list too!

CaveMum · 02/08/2021 22:53

FC = Forestry Commission

Ranger = a type of pick up truck. BIL has one, the engine has fallen out of it - twice Hmm

At which point are you able to claim ownership? (Sorry if it has already been discussed, I can't remember).

I would message to say that seen as how his 5 mins has now stretched into several days, you felt it your duty to warn him.

Plus, parking charge of £25 per day is now applicable

Sparklfairy · 02/08/2021 22:54

@ginislife poor OP only manages about half a dozen posts before the rest of us fill the thread up Grin just go on thread 2 and 3 and "see all" OP's posts for quick (and brilliant) updates although you'll miss some spectacular wit from other posters

skodadoda · 02/08/2021 22:55

WTF is wrong with cf, he’s left his car on OP’s property for three days?

LouHotel · 02/08/2021 22:55

Anyone got a link to part 3?

custardbear · 02/08/2021 22:55

You need to charge him parking!

LittleBear21 · 02/08/2021 22:56

I came looking for thread 3. Got a bit excited when I saw thread 4 was titled "The End". Should have known that would be too logical for this tale. I'm setting up camp here for the night and whatever comes next......

LostInTheColonies · 02/08/2021 22:56

Awesome thread - following intently from NZ (and also very keen on farmers' markets, and Scotland).
I take great pleasure in accidentally getting Rangers mixed up with a Rodeo or a Rav. The owners of said Rangers love it Grin

Bet you CF is the kind of overbearing, narcissistic guy who is loathed to take any directions or instructions from a woman. He is determined to avoid having to deal with OP, as he does not want to apologise or admit he was in the wrong. Hence turning up at the wrong time anyway despite being told in no uncertain terms that this did not suit her. What he does not get though is that when it comes to playing the waiting game, he is not going to win. I would be even more stubborn and insist that he comes at a time that would suit me rather than him and make it clear he cannot just turn up whenever he wants. I’d certainly not answer the door to him unless he comes at the appointed time and if he is late by more than half an hour the next time, then he will have to reschedule for another day. Plus, I would only unlock and open the gate to him after I got an apology. But then I have zero tolerance for that kind of guy.

Thread 3 for those who missed if. It's worth it.

WTF!! He never had any intention of turning up did he

PeaAndHamSoupFromAChicken · 02/08/2021 23:00

It. Not if.

My phone is apparently syncing with OPs with stupid autocorrects.

MrsRagnarLothbrok · 02/08/2021 23:01

cant believe cf car is still there, can he be charged parking fees?

Bipbopboo66 · 02/08/2021 23:01

I have had a gin or two... But..
Your brother is awesome.
Don't give anything. CF needs to fit into your schedule.

I cant get into his mindset..

ForeverWondering · 02/08/2021 23:02

DB must stay till the car is finally picked up! Would not be the same without him!

Can totally imagine him wondering why so many women are asking him about rangers though!

CarpeVitam · 02/08/2021 23:02

@lannistunut 🤣
