Stuff you think must happen to other people - but can't risk asking?

Anyone else have stuff happen to you that must happen to others.

But you can't really ask because what if they say "NO! How weird!" And then you can never talk to that person again.

So I'm bringing it to the anonymity of Mumsnet.

I'd love to hear other peoples. And will start off.

• whenever I wash my hair in the shower (I have long hair) loose hairs wash down my back and end up in my bum crack. End of my shower I have to check there's no hair left.

I can't be alone in this grossness! (Or can I)

Ever since I was a teenager, if my nipples are touched I get really intensely thirsty. Breastfeeding meant I had to have a glass of water on standby.

I get a weird feeling on my back in a small area of skin on one side of my spine. Its like someone is repeatedly stabbing me with a small needle. There is absolutely nothing to see on my skin. It happens maybe a few days a month on and off and then goes away again for a bit. Had it for about a year now. I'm really hoping someone else has this too!

I had surgery a couple of years back, they put me on the nose oxygen thing after... oh it dried up my bogeys so well

Anyone else have a fishy fanny after eating fish? If I have it for dinner in the evening, there's a very strong fishy smell from my bits the next day. I can whiff it every time I go to the loo. Only lasts a day and its definitely not an infection of any kind!

@Misisam I also get this and like a pp have Endometriosis. My fellow sufferers and I call it javelin arse....

Yes! I've name changed for this but I've ejaculated about 5 times in my life. The first time it happened I was mortified but my husband loved it. Once, in a hotel room, it shot all over the room and soaked all the magazine. My hubby was going down on me at the time. Poor bugger nearly drowned.

I totally get this as well! I've spoken to a Physio when I was having shoulder problems and she had no idea what I was talking about. It's just like having a sharp needle stabbed into my back. Really hurts & then just vanishes

@Kasparkat I have had that sensation in my back for years! I was petrified it was MS but after a clear MRI he dr said it could be nerve damage from a virus. It only seems to happen when I'm stressed 😩

I can't watch a video of pratfalls without constantly feeling the unpleasant and physical sensation of braking too hard on a bike and landing painfully on the crossbar.
I've no idea why it manifests there. But my pubic bone winces when people hurt themselves.

Arse pain - proctalgia fugax.
Basically when rectum goes into spasm. Lasts about 20 mins and it’s extremely painful (I once almost passed out!). Don’t think this one is related to endometriosis as my DH gets it too

@JamieDornansBiatch yes!! I'm so glad its not just me. I have been massively stressed this year and also have health anxiety. I was convinced it was skin cancer for ages even though the skin looks totally normal.

I did wonder if it could be something to do with where I had an epidural but that was 9 years ago so weird for it to suddenly happen this year.

There was a thread on sympathetic fanny wallop a while back, Barracker. (I get it - I wouldn't exactly call it wallop, more of a sharp stabbing pain. But definitely. Especially if DC hurts themself.)

Yes! @looselegs to the extent that my husband said we shouldn’t have fish for dinner last week! If you google it, it’s an actual condition - it’s to do with your body not breaking down compounds in the fish or something. We had fish tonight, I’ll keep away from everyone tomorrow...

Oh OP yes I also have long hair atm and get this, they tend to tangle into a sort of knot though and I actually have a (secret) name for it, I think of them as "arse-spiders"

I always shake my legs when I wee, I’m not ever sure why I’ve just always done it.
