Our HOF had one open, not the greatest marketing strategy. Ruined the surprise of the little funnel for one thing.

Incidentally, HAHAHAHAHA at whoever suggested that bloody Zoella was curating the HofF calendar. Perhaps the empress of crap will do a YouTube video explaining the uses of your funnel.

I do wonder how the planning meeting went when they were deciding what day to put the funnel in. Do you think there was a big debate about whether it should come before or after the beads? Or maybe somebody was frivolous enough to suggest they put the beads AND the funnel in the same day but got shot down - after all you don't want people to be too spoilt in the run up to Christmas!

I was tempted by a beauty advent calendar but I decided that unless I spend £100+ (not going to happen) it would probably be full of cheap n nasties. I'm enjoying having a cheap n nasty vicariously through you more than I would be having the actual calendar!

Door 3 is a similar size to door 2. Maybe we have another funnel so we can share the love with friends.

Day 3 may finally prove the answers to our funnel questions (maybe).

Day 3's offering is a pot of glitter. It is filled a third of the way and contains glitter particles the size of a hamster's eye. I'm not entirely sure they will fit through the funnel so I'm not ruling out other uses for the funnel appearing later on in the month.

After yesterday's confusion, I'm relieved today's gift comes with a descriptive label on the back. We all know how tricky it can be identifying glitter so HOF kindly saved us another half an hour sat around the table staring at the thing like we did yesterday.

It's another beauty from that well advertised, much coveted brand - Colour Couture. Getting myself a little collection going now and I can feel the jealousy seeping through the internet waves from you all

Just spotted day 11 is likely another funnel. I would share but I'd feel safer having a backup funnel just in case harm comes to the original.

loving the idea of using the funnel to decant into a hip flask, unicorn. Very impressed with your ingenuity too claire, maybe HOF should take you onboard in the advent calendar design department!

Kit the oddness of the door shapes are a whole other gift entirely. Could sit for hours guessing at these things!

I apologise for my tardiness. For some reason DD thought being on time for her dance class was more important than opening another door. She doesn't appreciate the finer things in life.

I looked at this online, decided it didn't look very good and went and bought the look fantastic calendar.

@Cheeseandcucumber I am shamelessly joining your thread. I am getting so much excitement from hearing your daily updates... the three advents I have (ASOS, LF and M&S) pale into insignificance when counterposed with the splendidness of yours

That's bad. I'm disappointed with HOF but also
