This really gets my goat and I probably need to chill the fuck out but I find it so annoying!

Someone will post an AIBU e.g.
DD (9) has done X,Y & Z, I think she is old enough to know better DH disagrees and she is just a kid still WIBU?

Followed by a flood of posters - How old is DD? What age is your daughter? etc....

Sometimes the answer to the question is in the thread title FGS [facepalm]

Some threads are long, I get that but at least read the blinking OP before responding! AIBU and this is something I shouldn't care about?

OP posts:
Benedikte2 · 29/04/2017 14:25

I don't have a DGoat but I'm getting one in a couple of months (will call her Phyllis) but I've read lots and lots of books and have fed goats at a petting zoo so I know everything there is to know about goats. I feel the OP is spooling her goat and the DGoat ought to be living independently by now. My goat will be perfectly behaved and very bright

KatyBerry · 29/04/2017 14:40

You need to get a free hour with a solicitor to find out whether the goat is right, or you are. The local council planning office should also help, so sue them.

HappyFlappy · 29/04/2017 14:46

Spooling goats can be both difficult and dangerous as their horns mean that they are not easy to wind around a bobbin of any type.

I'm glad you think you know everything about goats Benedikte, but don't think you are as knowledgeable as you think otherwise you would know that goats hate any name beginning with a /f/ sound, even though orthographically it is written with a /ph/.

To be called "Phyllis" will be anathema for any self-respecting goat.

Ekphrasis · 29/04/2017 15:15

YABU.

Hth.

Ginslinger · 29/04/2017 18:23

frankly if you want to spend £23,000 on a handbag then you want your head examining. I have used a tesco carrier bag for years and managed perfectly well with it. It's people like you that are responsible for everything that I don't like

ILikeBeansWithKetchup · 29/04/2017 18:35

Wow this thread has moved on since 78 posts ago.

OP, if you think nannying your goat is a sensible approach, you need to give your head a wobble.

DancingLedge · 29/04/2017 19:03

GoatyMcGoatface all about you?Hmm Shock

Have you ever asked yourself how entitled you're entitled to be?

I wonder if you were allowed to climb up slides when a kid? Angry

Teatowelfairy · 29/04/2017 19:05

Well it's no wonder the postie is late if he's still got 87 deliveries to make,
especially since he's suffering with wobbly head syndrome. Confused

Maybe the goat could deliver it faster?

Entitled, moi?

I'll have you know, Dancing that I'm about to go on a crowdfunded trot across Africa. You can eat your words by donating on my JustGiving page. Entitled! As if! Confused Angry

Ooh, I love a good woo thread. Not had a chance to RTFT but place marking for later.

Teatowelfairy · 29/04/2017 21:41

Any news on your camel OP? Flowers

HappyFlappy · 29/04/2017 22:03

Was your goat free-birthed OP. Ought you not to be falling, weeping, in reverent awe, at its translucent little hoofies and perfect little horny-wornys? Do you not thrill to the great power surge of the universe pouring through you as you shovel up its crap cherish its every natural function?

HairsprayBabe · 30/04/2017 06:30

I couldnt post yesterday was busy out doing my very identifying time consuming non-goat related hobby.

I do it three evenings a week and all day every saturday. DH complains he never gets any time to do his hobby because of it but frankly he goes to work and gets to interact with adults all day while I am stuck with DD and DGoat so I think I deserve it.

Camel toe is bulging and sore this morning may need lancing and squeezing. Thanks for asking TeaTowel

I bet you did a better post than ne, too, didn't you? Is it very far back? Now I have to find it.

HappyFlappy · 30/04/2017 15:23

Found it!

It was a modest and understated example of how to get your genius missed. I take no responsibility. Grin

tetherended · 30/04/2017 15:50

@happyflappy 😀 ouch, my side hurts! Thanks for the laugh 😀

Emmageddon · 30/04/2017 17:31

MysteriesOfTheOrganism · 01/05/2017 12:13

What about your other 8 DDs? Why has only DD9 got a goat? And we need pictures! Where was the goat parked???

HappyFlappy · 01/05/2017 15:57

I believe the goat was inappropriately parked directly in from of a dropped kerb Organism. However in the absence of a diagram, this is all speculation.

All I can be sure of is that penguin bollards would have made the entire situation much better for us .

HappyFlappy · 01/05/2017 15:57
