DS turns 1 this week. Be honest, is this the stuff of nightmares? Will the children at his party be scarred for life?

This thread is brilliant.

ImportSave · 09/04/2017 13:34

If you don't want to do flakes, you could melt some chocolate, stick it in ta piping bag and make a zigzag pattern on non stick paper. Let it set for a few minutes then peel the paper off.

JollyBobs · 09/04/2017 14:41

Come on @ImportSave I have clearly demonstrated I have the creative flair of a one handed sloth. Zig zags? I think I need to concentrate on it not looking like it's singing smack ma bitch up.

ForTheSakeOfFuck · 09/04/2017 14:56

Maybe you could put a few lines of icing sugar in front of it?

ForTheSakeOfFuck · 09/04/2017 14:58

You know. As decoration. Obviously. If anyone reads anything into it, clutch pearls and be shocked at their outrageous suggestion.

I should not be in charge of children's parties.

Lflossy88 · 09/04/2017 14:59

God no lol... That's well out of my baking abilities Wink

Reactivedog · 09/04/2017 15:06

Chocolate buttons- every time.

ophiotaurus · 09/04/2017 15:15

Poor hog! I think flakes would look good or buttons.

Gileswithachainsaw · 09/04/2017 15:18

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 09/04/2017 15:20

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 09/04/2017 15:25

Those hedgehog cakes are side splitting ! 😂😂😂

JollyBobs · 09/04/2017 15:29

I can't present a beaver cake for my sons first birthday or can I?

SouthWindsWesterly · 09/04/2017 15:29

As long as it isn't made with a red strawberry sponge for that surprise cake cut, it should be fine. Choccy buttons for the spines and a licorice spiff out front. Sorted

JollyBobs · 09/04/2017 15:30

Red stawberry cake and jam, there's an idea!
