The Beginning

The Middle

The end?

So... Long story short... There are horses, soon there should not be (I'm not good at summaries, they make me sound unreasonable).

We have a date! This Saturday! The horses should be taken away to pastures new, so we can roam the meadow in gingham dresses (dh looks good in a gingham dress) and we can have FuckYouFestivals to our heart's content.

There will be choirs and drums and bands and weapons and stackable goats and so much more!

Anyone who's read the threads knows I love a lurker. I can you see you out there. Go on, jump in while the thread's all new and shiny. You know you want to Wink

I've been part of a quiche for about 6 years now... Its a very small one - although its not at all exclusive and others are made welcome if they want to join - must seem a bit daunting though as we've all been talking through thick and thin for so long now...

If we're doing quiche can there be some vege ones too please (I make a (rather good even if I say it myself) sweetcorn souffle quiche and a mushroom and basil one quite regularly). And can we avoid my grandmother's variation on them (she sometimes struggled with 'new' English words) - a Squish - the fillings were as interesting as the name.

Verily, my franchise is cast thus:

Wine and wings.

PedantMarina · 27/02/2014 10:14

And a new fred.

enriquetheringbearinglizard · 27/02/2014 14:10

Don't leave for pasturesnew without me.

I'll get me coat.

Hope the Chrises had a good night and nore sore heads today.

WingDefence · 27/02/2014 14:14

My scarf has arrived! Photo on FYChris's Chat thread :)

It's more of a forest green than I thought it'd be but I actually prefer that.

Jux · 27/02/2014 14:23

I had what's known as a shopping accident last night, so a purple no horse scarf is winging its way to me. I shall wear it with my green coat when I am out shopping (it's the only time I go out).

AngelaDaviesHair · 27/02/2014 14:24

There's a Chat thread? No one told me, you duplicitous disloyal bastards.

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 27/02/2014 14:32

Grin hello all.

Luckily last night's drunkeness was due to no food rather than vast quantities of alcohol so all is well here. In fact an embarrassingly small amount was quaffed Blush

Hurray to scarves! Hurray to garden cake currently cooking in my oven :)

Should we just sidle over to the existing chat thread once this is finished?

I'm not good at witty names.

It'd probably end up as "Fuck Me! no horses!"

WingDefence · 27/02/2014 14:54

Haha I love the name of that thread, although you're right there is the existing chat thread too (sorry Angela!).

Decisions, decisions...!

WingDefence · 27/02/2014 14:54

And I'm glad you're not too hungover FYChris Grin

AngelaDaviesHair · 27/02/2014 14:55

Sniff.

WingDefence · 27/02/2014 14:56

Offers Angela some cheese Cake

AngelaDaviesHair · 27/02/2014 14:58

I ought to hold out for more, but I am a very cheap date and a cheese bribe will do nicely, thank you.

MrsNutella · 27/02/2014 15:31

Oooohh Whois going to finish the thread? If I'm left to it it'll just be snot filled dribbly nonsense

MrsNutella · 27/02/2014 15:33

I like cheese too... What sort have you got wing?

AngelaDaviesHair · 27/02/2014 15:33

Have just read the tartiflette recipe in The Guardian and I am drooling.

MrsNutella · 27/02/2014 15:39

Angela, tell me more!

AngelaDaviesHair · 27/02/2014 15:40

here you are. Cheesy bacony heaven.

MrsNutella · 27/02/2014 15:41

I'm going to find a spoon and my Nutella jar... Then I'm going to chuck the toddler out of the kitchen before he destroys everything

MrsNutella · 27/02/2014 15:43

That looks amazing! Thank you! I shall take it to bed with my Nutella and spoon so I can enjoy some food porn. DH sold be home soon

AngelaDaviesHair · 27/02/2014 15:44

Sadly I am following a low carb diet at the mo and unable to try it. Plus the DC won't eat potatoes, except in chip form. Middle age is very sad.

MrsNutella · 27/02/2014 15:45

Awwww Angela it will be worth it when you fit into that perfect pair of jeans (or whatever item of clothing your heart desires you to look fabulous in.) x

MrsNutella · 27/02/2014 15:45

Oooooohhhhhh 999

MrsNutella · 27/02/2014 15:46

Blast off!, damn, I wish I was talented enough to construct a rocket from various punctuation marks.... But I'm not.
