The Beginning

The Middle

The end?

So... Long story short... There are horses, soon there should not be (I'm not good at summaries, they make me sound unreasonable).

We have a date! This Saturday! The horses should be taken away to pastures new, so we can roam the meadow in gingham dresses (dh looks good in a gingham dress) and we can have FuckYouFestivals to our heart's content.

There will be choirs and drums and bands and weapons and stackable goats and so much more!

Anyone who's read the threads knows I love a lurker. I can you see you out there. Go on, jump in while the thread's all new and shiny. You know you want to Wink

hello wing wondered what had happened to you.

Runner beans - very easy if you can get them big enough to get past the slugs. But they do need water to actually make beans.

Shouldn't be much of a problem this year then.

I keep looking out for the horsey scarf, but no-one round here has one. Trouble is I don't really do scarves, so i don't have one either (and they HAD sold out of the purple)

AngelaDaviesHair · 25/02/2014 12:01

Goat racing is what we need, clearly.

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 25/02/2014 12:25

Alpaca, sounds like a sensible plan.

Does anyone else want some actual alpacas too?

Steppe, hang on a mo Here you go

Angela, we do! With betting too!

what about the children (or DHs) tethered to goats being given a tray chariot so that we can race the goats! It would probably be easier than trying to get a goat into a sack and then stopping the goat from eating the sack.

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 25/02/2014 12:42

MrsN, I knew there was a reason I liked you that transcended the sausage Grin perfect!

Just spent three hours reading your threads. Fantastic end.
Now I've got to run round spraying pledge so it looks like I've done something today

mistlethrush · 25/02/2014 13:20

I could probably borrow a lure coursing machine so that we could run simulated coursing in the field... I know my lurcher would be very keen. I wonder whether the goats would also chase if something tasty enough was tied to the lure?

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 25/02/2014 13:22

Damnautocorrect Grin it's amazing what a bit of pledge can do. I need to clean the kitchen from top to bottom, so I'm obviously painting the doors of the cupboards instead. What else would I do?

Mistle, brilliant. Goats'll eat anything so I reckon they'll chase it.

A bit late to the party (have been moving house and visiting friend with new tiny baby) but just wanted to say congratulations and well done! I can't do the war dance I promised as I am in a client office and they already think I am barking. But in my head I am doing one for you Grin. I only skim read the last bits but your counsellor is right dontcha know? You have sorted all this out (which would have completely floored a lesser person) whilst retaining a sense of humour and now it is time TO PLEASE YOURSELF!!! You sound fab and you will soon be wafting around the field enjoying what is rightfully yours (if it ever stops raining that is....)

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 25/02/2014 14:37

Thanks Nigel, I'm a little disappointed that your client isn't getting the full force of your war dance Grin

Things are happening on the field front. Decent fencing is being organised, and all sorts. It's rather exciting.

Evening

Was supposed to do a 3-10/sleep/8-2 from yesterday afternoon, only the client decided not to sleep for most of last night so only got 3 hours. Got home this afternoon and feel asleep for another 3 hours and now have a slight headache and am still tired.

The good news is that my horse scarf had arrived by the time I got home. It's red with white horses Grin As I'm in the north west I doubt I'll see anyone wearing one but you never know.

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 25/02/2014 21:46

Deja, sorry for the lack of sleep, but hurray for horse scarves! I do like red. I shall keep my eyes peeled if ever I'm up your way. Sorry, i of course mean oop your way.

Grin

Chris if I remember rightly we would have met at the Liverpool meet, that's supposed to be going ahead in July, if you hadn't have had a prior engagement. Also assuming of course that I'll be able to make it.

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 25/02/2014 22:20

Deja, this is true. It's still possible that my prior engagement may end up being moved. You never know.

Maybe we should try for a FYF meetup!

DejaVuAllOverAgain · 25/02/2014 22:26

Now that I'd like Grin

I'll say goodnight for now though. If I sit here much longer I'll still be here at midnight. Day off tomorrow so must be thankful for small mercies. Night.

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 25/02/2014 22:35

Sleep well, déjà, dream of no horses :)

OP posts:
Jux · 25/02/2014 22:48

What's big and invisible?

No horses!!

PedantMarina · 25/02/2014 22:59

"I don't envy the headache you'll have in the morning, but in the meantime, sleep well and dream of large feisty women... "

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 26/02/2014 06:49

Princess Bride!

Jux, that is now my favourite joke :)

OP posts:
DejaVuAllOverAgain · 26/02/2014 07:46

The headache has gone. I think it was brought on by the fact that I slept for 3 hours but then forced myself to wake up when I could have gone back to sleep because I didn't want to sleep all day.

I did have a dream but no horses.

enriquetheringbearinglizard · 26/02/2014 08:54

Runs through thread shouting "waaaah I lost you"

Back later,mwah mwah Brew

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 26/02/2014 09:28

Déjà, glad you're feeling better. I like that my autocorrect always adds the accents to your name, it makes you look all fancy :)

Enrique! You vanished and we couldn't find you! I suspected you'd joined the dark side and were hanging out with the horses in their new field.

So is that a horse scarf you're wearing, or a no horse scarf?!

OP posts:
MrsNutella · 26/02/2014 10:37

Hmmmm I have my suspicions of Enrique.... Are you sure it's not an anagram of "Equine" cleverly hidden in a long username????!!!!

DejaVuAllOverAgain · 26/02/2014 10:51

Nice to know I look fancy somewhere even if it is online and not rl Grin

MrsNutella, I like your theory and would like to add that maybe Enrique is trying to throw us off the scent by pretending to be a lizard HmmWink

enriquetheringbearinglizard · 26/02/2014 11:00

Hmm if I was going to pretend to be anything surely it'd be a chameleon?
