The Beginning

The Middle

The end?

So... Long story short... There are horses, soon there should not be (I'm not good at summaries, they make me sound unreasonable).

We have a date! This Saturday! The horses should be taken away to pastures new, so we can roam the meadow in gingham dresses (dh looks good in a gingham dress) and we can have FuckYouFestivals to our heart's content.

There will be choirs and drums and bands and weapons and stackable goats and so much more!

Anyone who's read the threads knows I love a lurker. I can you see you out there. Go on, jump in while the thread's all new and shiny. You know you want to Wink

WingDefence · 26/02/2014 21:38

Of course we will Grin

We luffs you too!

IdaBlankenship · 26/02/2014 21:48

We can all come over wearing our scarves and watch Quantum Leap and The Princess Bride and eat cheesecake and then go on a chainsaw frenzy in your bramble patch (which kind of sounds like a euphemism but isn't honest)

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 26/02/2014 21:49

Wing Grin

You is all dead daft!

My supper is champagne and crumpets (mr Chris is in charge) I've just read mr Chris all your recent posts and he says, "seriously, if you all wanted to come round I'll make a camping field... With a pony. I mean! No ponies!!"

Sorry that was verbatim.

:)

You really are all amazing.

I should start a new thread, do you want a new thread?

Aren't you all bored now? Should I wander off?

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 26/02/2014 21:50

Ida! I just laughed so hard at your post! Can we watch labyrinth too not for the package

OP posts:
IdaBlankenship · 26/02/2014 21:55

Are the crumpets in lieu of blinis or are you just a wild card with your carb/alcohol combos? Mojitos and muffins?

Labyrinth - for sure. There's always time to leer at a well filled leather trouser

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 26/02/2014 21:59

The crumpets are in lieu of "we don't have to make real good and dh has had a 5 hour commute today".

He also says he doesn't need DB's package imprinted on his brain.

OP posts:
FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 26/02/2014 22:00

Food! Not good!

OP posts:
FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 26/02/2014 22:00

And I now want mojotos and muffins

OP posts:
IdaBlankenship · 26/02/2014 22:14

Surely we all have db's package imprinted on our brain. Once seen never forgotten.
Wine & waffles? Sambuca and scones?

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 26/02/2014 22:19

I have always loved him.

I should probably eat more.

Toast and tequila?

OP posts:
IdaBlankenship · 26/02/2014 22:23

Whiskey and welsh cakes seeing as you're across the border

mistlethrush · 26/02/2014 22:27

Pikelets and Pimms would be good for a FYFest

AlpacaPicnic · 26/02/2014 22:28

Baileys and brownies?
Baileys and baileys cheesecake?!

IdaBlankenship · 26/02/2014 22:31

Ooh I like a pikelet

Alpaca - do you like baileys by any chance Grin

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 26/02/2014 22:33

Dh says "what are pikelets?!"
I don't know either Blush are they drop scones?

OP posts:
mistlethrush · 26/02/2014 22:37

pikelets are where you've not got a crumpet ring and they go flat... but they've still got bubbles...

AlpacaPicnic · 26/02/2014 22:45

I do like a drop of Baileys in my morning coffee

I made pikelets on a baking course last year - mine were kind of like pancakes but made with a yeast batter. I may have made on in a shape not dissimilar to David Bowies package in Labyrinth, egged on by the two fun ladies nect to me!

FuckYouChrisAndThatHorse · 26/02/2014 22:46

Interesting... So it's an untidy crumpet?

OP posts:
mistlethrush · 26/02/2014 22:50

pikelets

FannyPriceless · 26/02/2014 22:59

It's a New Zealand thing. Edmonds Cookbook pikelet recipe. Like a thicker, smaller pancake with baking powder or other raising agent. Serve for afternoon tea with jam and cream. Want. Now.

enriquetheringbearinglizard · 26/02/2014 23:02

Pikelets aka Crumpets.
Soz short, battery dying.
I luffs you all too.
New thread plz Grin Wine

RoadKillBunny · 26/02/2014 23:24

New thread.
Are we a quiche?

I like quiche.
And labyrinth.
And sleep.
Sleep wins.
Nighty night FYFers

steppemum · 27/02/2014 00:38

Oh a quiche.

I've never been part of a quiche.

Do I need to bring bacon then?

WingDefence · 27/02/2014 08:53

Grin at Ida's idea of a good night!

I vote for wine and waffles or mojitos and muffins! is it too early to be wanting booze

How're the heads FYChris and Mr Chris? Hope you really celebrated last night Wine

Definitely need a new thread - what can you call it... 'The horse has bolted so let's party in the stable'. No, I'm definitely no good at thread titles... Confused

MrsNutella · 27/02/2014 08:58

Wing I think a good thread title would be "bolt the doors that horse is gone!" Or something wittier from someone who doesn't have a goo filled brain and stinking cold.

Hope you had a lovely celebratory night Mr and Mrs C!
