So... Long story short... There are horses, soon there should not be (I'm not good at summaries, they make me sound unreasonable).

We have a date! This Saturday! The horses should be taken away to pastures new, so we can roam the meadow in gingham dresses (dh looks good in a gingham dress) and we can have FuckYouFestivals to our heart's content.

There will be choirs and drums and bands and weapons and stackable goats and so much more!

Zombie :) I'm no one significant. Just a complete pushover in a field with no horses in it.

No no no! no horse. Horses are big and scary and high maintenance and expensive. A nice little shetland that won't eat the dog or the babies and loves cuddles.
...I may know of one or two for sale...

Lavender I think we will. I'm going to go and roll in the mud with the dcs tomorrow. I'm sure I'll think of something for you all to help with the clean up after FYF for a start

Zombie does come equipped with lots of camping gear for the FYFest.

She also has a didgeridoo. Not that's she's ever mastered circular breathing to get a sound out of it. But she could practise.

Zombie, I think that makes 3 didgeridoos! Well, 2 didgeridoos and dh's didgeridon't. You can have your own section in the orchestra.

Well, of course we were going to help with cleanup. Don't know if you read that far, but the Vikings leave every site better than when we came (we like to keep our clients). Every ex-tent-patch gets a nice dose of the water barrel, to make up for the lack of sunlight over the last few days. Whole groups conduct a walkover, picking up everything non-organic, whether we brought it there or not. No weeping Native Americans after our events!

Dh asked me earlier if I had any thoughts on where we might go camping this year. I pretended to think seriously about it while thinking it had better be somewhere close since I have to do all the driving and he said "Maybe Wales?". He doesn't know why I laughed .

I'm back, post Gerontius. I'm glad that RL came over... I would say to her (being reasonable) that, if she wanted to come and take the shelter, if she let you know which weekend she was sorting this for and took EVERYTHING it would be fine - but if she decided to leave it it would be fine too.
