It's your lovely daughter that's treating you isn't it GetOrf?
Hope you have a lovely time.
I'm so not a foodie, though I'd draw the limits at Talc's menu, so Monsieur Wotsit would pass me by.
Enjoy Grin

LeGavrOrf · 05/06/2013 23:53

Oh I did le not la

BIWI · 05/06/2013 23:53

Ou, Mademoiselle? Je ne sais pas si elle la prefererait?

LeGavrOrf · 05/06/2013 23:54

Yes my daughter is paying.

HA! I'm going to Order the lobster.

BIWI · 05/06/2013 23:54

Tu as les problemes plus grand si tu as choisi 'le' en place de 'la', je pense!

TalcAndTurnips · 05/06/2013 23:55

LeGavrOrf - you look simply stunning in that new frock.

LeGavrOrf · 05/06/2013 23:55

NO flumpy I said oh god because I was so thrilled with talcs idea of a name change!

But yes I am the twat with the sheets Grin not offended that you remember that, honest guv Grin

LeGavrOrf · 05/06/2013 23:57

Ou j'avec une probleme.

Cest tres similar to le tres difficile probleme of la recherché who to say tu or vous

LeGavrOrf · 05/06/2013 23:57

I got a fucking A in French GCSE tu connais

BIWI · 05/06/2013 23:58

'tu' familiar
'vous' cold and dead to you

BIWI · 05/06/2013 23:59

I'm sure that's what we were taught in Longmans Audio Visual French

LeGavrOrf · 06/06/2013 00:01

Lol at cold and dead to you.

Kristin Scott Thmas would know. I always think my life would be so much simpler if I was KST.

TalcAndTurnips · 06/06/2013 00:02

I think that there should be an English equivalent to the Michelin guide and their star awards.

Do you think Halfords would be interested?

LadyBeagleEyes · 06/06/2013 00:04

Anyway I'm of to google this French chap to see if he's good enough for you.
I have heard of him but I may be getting him mixed up with some other Frenchie cheffy type.

BIWI · 06/06/2013 00:10

Halfords. J'aime leurs choses pour voitures. C'est un magasin que je trouve superbe. Je voudrais acheter all manner de choses qui I have no idea about parce que ils seem to be trop useful. C'est comme les magasins stationery.

Haines rather than Halfords, I would think. Or how about Dunlop?

LadyBeagleEyes · 06/06/2013 00:10

Ah, ok, I was thinking of Albert.

BIWI · 06/06/2013 00:28

Albert?! Est-ce que tu es fou?! Il est comme un grenouille!

BIWI · 06/06/2013 00:30

Ou un crapaud!

(c'est a much better wordm mais je had to look that one up)

LadyBeagleEyes · 06/06/2013 00:41

Mais oui, Albert est un cochon grand.

LadyBeagleEyes · 06/06/2013 00:42

But Michael est un petit peu un grenoille, non?

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 06/06/2013 00:47

Je pense Mme Roux would be telling Michel to descend de Getorf.

Elle a les legs jusqu'a les ears et il est un peu on le petit side.

Tu le trouve un peu dodgy fit lovey Grin

BIWI · 06/06/2013 00:48
Grin
HarrySnotter · 06/06/2013 05:16
