Calling all overseas MNers - My lovely boy has written some letters

He's 7, and is quite taken by stamps.
He's written several letters (I'll give you an example in a minute), and I wondered if there might be some MNers in foreign parts who might help him :)

Here is one of his letters ( in very best joined-up writing:))

Dear Jamaica

If I writ you a letter, please will you send me one back, so I can see your stamps.
I am from England (Great Britan)
Good luck in the Olympics

There are similar letters for several countries, and his plan is to put them in an envelope with the country name on the outside, and several stamps.

Would anyone be able to send him a letter with a stamp on?

I've just checked some old postcards and have found stamps from Cambodia, USA and France if these are any good? I suspect I've got ones from Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Singapore knocking about... will have a hunt!

I thought I'd maybe get a couple of replies, if I was lucky, and I'm inundated with lovely MNers :)

Ds is going to love this! He is very bright ( ahem, aren't they all on here?), and so interested in everything going on in the world. It wouldn't surprise me if he ends up the next Bear Grylls!
Once he knows how all you MNers have rallied round, he'll be trying to persuade me to start a thread asking for donkeys :o

You've just reminded me that my dd used to have a real,THING about post cards! She was terrified and upset by them, they weren't letters they were word cards and "I don't liiiiiiiiiiike them"

I had to ask people to please not send them (we used to get loads lol) as she would freak out (real tears! Weird child)

Yeah she's 13 now, and mostly just a crabby teen!!

She does have some sensitive child traits still, but she was just so funny about it, if it wasn't in an envelope it really upset her!

I think I have some stamps from poland and the czech republic (I always buy postcards and then never send them ) I'll check tomorrow if I can find them and PM you if I do.

Aaaww! I'm sure France has already been taken, but if not my DS1 is always upset not to get any letters in the post box and it would make his day! Feel free to PM
