My vagine is itching like mad.

Namechanged for obvious reasons. :(

My minge is itching like buggery. No discharge/whiffiness, just a very itchy vulva (as per namechange Wink) Have done a Caneten pessary on saturday and been applying the cream but nothing is working.

Suggestions please? And don't say "wash yer minge" Wink

Apparently the drugs in Asthma inhalers can cause thrush.
(Just through normal usage that is, not from inserting them where they are not intended!)

so DH told me after he'd been to his asthma clinic and I was on my second dose of hideously expensive Canesten treatment

Thanks DH

Theonewiththehair · 16/01/2012 16:02

Sorry Bups but Grin @ the name change fail. Hope you feel better soon.

[Talc], genius.

TalcAndTurnips · 16/01/2012 16:04

MadameOvary - I am often to be found hanging around like a bad smell.

If I happen to be wearing my creative pants, who knows what might happen? Grin

Theonewiththehair · 16/01/2012 16:04

Talc even

NearlyDunne · 16/01/2012 16:14

I find sudocrem works on everything so just lash that on when you go to bed tonight and then have a shower with WATER. all the soapy stuff takes away all the stuff that keeps your fanjo healthy. it self cleans if you see what i mean it would be yuckyer with all the washing.

Google says it better

Most women wash with soap or ?feminine washes? these are totally unnecessary and actually harmful to vaginal health, the vagina has a very delicate pH balance that helps to keep the balance of ?good? and ?bad? bacteria in check, if you use soaps or other chemicals such as ?feminine washes? then this interferes with vaginal pH, in turn allowing the ?bad? bacteria to take over from the ?good? bacteria which causes infections ? thus soaps and washes can make the vagina smell bad, particularly when first used if her vagina is particularly sensitive to pH changes. In short, make sure she isn?t using soaps or anything else chemical ? this includes ?feminine? washes and sprays, perfume, talc, douches, wipes

WelshMoth · 16/01/2012 16:17

Got to be one for the classics, surely?

Post No.2 started it for me. Oh shit

BupcakesandCunting · 16/01/2012 16:20

I understand all of that NearlyDunny. I just don't like the feeling of not having a "proper" wash downstairs. Mek me feel al dutty and ting. Issues, probably. :(

fruitshootsandheavesupafurball · 16/01/2012 16:23

well obviously no one is in the least bit interested in my inhaler discovery

Dotty342kids · 16/01/2012 16:24

Oh my god, I can't remember the last time I laughed so much at something on here!
bupcakes, that was a genius name change fail - thank you so much for the entertainment and your brave continuous posting following that bombshell!

I cannot even begin to explain to my (working from home) husband just why I'm laughing so much {grin}

ViviPru · 16/01/2012 16:24

I use shower gel. Common or-garden cheapo Palmolive - although technically its "bath creme'" as I checked the ingredients list and its exactly the same as their shower creme but cheaper per ml...

Anyway, no itchiness/cuntworms/infections here (possible FB status update?)

Dotty342kids · 16/01/2012 16:24

And I definitely want to be the owner of a "vagine", it sounds glorious!

NearlyDunne · 16/01/2012 16:25

It might feel dirty for a week but then when everything starts to get bk to normal on the ph/ bacteria front it might just feel normal. if it bothers you just have a few water washes a day just to freshen up

BupcakesandCunting · 16/01/2012 16:27

You got thrush from boning your inhaler-using DH, FruitShoot? Shock That's one hell of a way to get an STI!

BigFatSpider · 16/01/2012 16:27

God bless you, Bups - spectacular effort Grin

I really really want to pop over to Baby Names and contribute to a 'Help me find a pretty French girl's name' thread - and completely straight faced, offer Vagine ...

yellowraincoat · 16/01/2012 16:28

Wash with simple soap, since I started using that, I haven't had thrush once (used to get it constantly).

Go and get some of that oral medicine for thrush. Nothing else clears it for me.

If it is indeed thrush. I'm no doctor.

ICanTuckMyBoobsInMyPockets · 16/01/2012 16:28

Please can someone explain/link the "is that you UCM?" reference? Us newbies don't get it, but sounds like it would.be worth a read!

Craparinha · 16/01/2012 16:29

Pmsl

Thats it - I am officially renaming my fanjo 'la vagine'. Or is it ' vagine?' Always mix me feminines and masculines up Grin

Poor you, OP. please ignore the freakos who are telling you to dip yer flaps in tea te or acrub your minjo with Johnsons bubble bath (wtaf?)

Go to the doctors. Seriously. Good luck!

Craparinha · 16/01/2012 16:30

Le? La? Sorry for typos

BupcakesandCunting · 16/01/2012 16:30

Yes the USM thing. Before my time too, I think...

Le vagine, sweetie, le vajine...

OP posts:
VikingBlood · 16/01/2012 16:31

It's le vagin. If vagine existed it would be la vagine.
