If she does, I volunteer to raise the next litter!

Pickmepickmepickmepickme!

TheOriginalFAB · 28/04/2011 12:01

I am a bit worried about mum and wonder where she is.

Pinot · 28/04/2011 12:13

SDTG I hope 'your' cat is OK, he/she sounds like an amazing colour. I was buying a litter box this morning in readiness and the cashier said 'What colour kitten have you got?' so I told her and she said 'Oh just normal moggies then' Shock As opposed to a Jaguar and a Serval cat, love?? Cheek of her. I'll have her know these are very special moggies with lots of MN Aunties so she can lump it. Of course, I just mumbled "Umm yeah" and walked away. I did walk away with a birrova huff though [csmile]

Anyhoooooo, mad cashiers aside, 5inthebed, your cat looks hilarious!! Can't believe you fashioned the hat to fit her!! Nutter [cgrin]

Saffron your post made me Shock a bit - I hope she doesn't come and gift me babies again, I'm shattered!! FAB I haven't seen her for ages, but I live on the edge of a housing estate which links to another one through the trees at the back of my house so she could potentially be anywhere in this area...I have no idea why she chose our garden, but tbh I am happy she did. This time. Next time SDTG can do the night feeds [cgrin] Oh and the explosive poos [cgrin]

Speaking of night feeds, DH did the 4am feed - and made it as quick as possible (as men are want to do, right girls? Wink )...cue 5.20, meowing from Meow and Ginger as they want cuddles and attention not just a full belly. So I wake up anyway and spend half an hour stroking and cuddling, then settle them down. DH thinks I'm mad, but they luff me and I luff them [csmile] [csmile]

I'll weight them in a bit - hoping for weight gain again!

Grin She is a proper lady.

Pinot · 28/04/2011 16:17

Ginger has gone up to 325g and Meow has gone up to 265g so I'm going to try a 3hr gap between feeds. Wish me luck!! [csmile]

They are doing so well! Fingers crossed they sleep a little longer for you now.

I just showed my cat loving ds the photos he really loved seeing them.

Jellykat · 28/04/2011 19:07

Yay pinot.. A litter tray purchase! [cgrin]

Perhaps the cashier expected Ginger and Meow to be Pink ??

Fingers crossed for the 3 hour feeds tonight.

TheOriginalFAB · 28/04/2011 19:28

Yay for the weight gain.

BornThisWayBaby · 28/04/2011 20:23

looking at those piccys are making me really look forward to my misses' new additions! Im very lucky to have time to prepare for them though! Glad they're doing so well [cgrin]

tribpot · 28/04/2011 21:40

You should have explained that Ginger and Meow are practically the most famous cats on t'internet, these are no ordinary moggies!

Pinot · 28/04/2011 22:13

BTWB I was hoping you'd pop over here! [csmile] I wonder how many kits you'll have? I'm excited for you!!

Tribpot my sentiments exactly! Clearly not a MNer [cwink]

I have just shown the photos to DP whilst shrieking. He has just fallen in love with Meow and thinks her little black smudge around her mouth is soooo cuuuute Grin

He is a big burly builder, and is more of a wet blanket about cats than I am. If I ever so slightly raise my voice at our cats (say if they have bought a squished mouse in Hmm) he gives me a wounded look, picks up the cats and says 'shush don't listen to mummy'

We are both destined to be certifiable loons with 75 cats when we are older Grin

HauntedLittleLunatic · 28/04/2011 22:52

I must say the kittens anre very cute...(we hand raised a ginger kitty when I was a child, from about a 1-2 weeks old I think....so cute when they start clawing at the bottle and start trying to pull it into their mouth...

But what I really want to know is does your DH know that there are pictures of him seemingly irish dancing on the internet for all to see (background of pictures where giner is wrapped in dusky pink towel)....that makes me smile every time I look,

GitAwfMayLend · 28/04/2011 23:38

lol at the dancing husband - I hadn't noticed that! What was he dancing to? Was there a montage of Kajagoogoo on the telly or something? Grin

Pinot · 29/04/2011 08:13

HAHA!! Yes I'd noticed it too but he can take the mickey out of himself! he was at the laptop entering his golf scores Hmm no dancing - maybe a little jig if he'd done well praps :) :)

Pinot, omg they are cute, in a really cute cute way.

Why don't you just go the whole hog and call them WillKat and MeowKat - or you could call ginger Harry!

Keep the piccies coming, I love them!

Pinot · 29/04/2011 14:24

Lol I have a son called Harry (who is a ginger! All my boys take after me and are flameheaded gingers) :)

ThePrincessRoyalFiggyrolls · 29/04/2011 17:11

Excellent choice of name there Pinot [cwink] [csmile]

Jellykat · 29/04/2011 19:38

Hadn't noticed the additional pirouetting DH [cgrin]

How did you do with the 3 hour feeds last night Pinot?

Pinot · 29/04/2011 22:01

Good thanks Jelly though today has been all out of sorts with kittens being picked up lots by rellies and needing odd bits of food. Plus twice weeing down my tops So hoping tonight is OK but it's not their fault if not, you know.

My Mum is kitten, dog and grandson sitting tomorrow as DH and I are off to see Wicked in London for my little sisters 21st birthday so I've written pages of notes so everything crossed she'll be OK and they'll be OK. I've been looking forward to it for ages but now I'm nervous and all bothered about leaving them

OP posts:
Jellykat · 29/04/2011 22:16

Oh have a great time though Pinot, you deserve a break.. I'm sure they'll all be okay, especially with the notes!

LaWeaselIsOupaLaDouffe · 29/04/2011 22:17

They're your PFB(Kitties!) You're allowed to worry.

You must be knackered from working so hard! I can well imagine getting into the theater and eyes closed as the lights go down...
