Congrats on your 2 new kittens, Mr Grigio-Blush. Pinot, hoping indeed your mum falls in love. Surely she will? We all have.

I love this thread; I think you're doing such a fab job!
Also feel compelled to raise 3 cheers for the chief Kitten Korrespondant, one SummerRain. Hip Hip....

Pinot · 21/04/2011 20:16

Hooray!

Vallhala has been wonderful with PM's too, and so many of you have offered advice and much-needed hand-holding for me!!!!

Evening all!

Just in for an evening catch up!

I would have been surprised if you said 'do you know what? I can't wait to give these kittens away', I think we all knew those little cuties have found their home now! Grin

You're doing such a fab job, give those little sweeties a squidge from me! xx

MigratingCoconuts · 21/04/2011 21:27

I love this thread too!!

all threads should be this happy Smile

MigratingCoconuts · 21/04/2011 21:35

sorry, that should be [busmile] as a cute thread deserves a cute icon!

OTheHugeManatee · 21/04/2011 21:50

Ooooh! You're keeping some kits!

Your DH knows you want to... [bugrin]

CaveMum · 21/04/2011 22:59

So glad that this thread is now in Classics [bugrin]

ChocolateEggyrolls · 21/04/2011 23:03

[bugrin] love it

glastocat · 22/04/2011 01:09

I can't be the only one who keeps clicking on pinots profile looking for more pics? [buenvy]

saffronwblue · 22/04/2011 08:02

What an absolutely gorgeous thread. Fingers crossed for the little kittens - I think they fell on their feet when they were born in your garden.

CaveMum · 22/04/2011 08:18

I showed DH the photos lady night and he melted too!
I know he wants at least one more cat but I've said no until we move house later this year. We lost one cat on the road we live on and I was so heartbroken I couldn't stand it if it happened again. Once we have our nice house with a big garden and on a quiet road we WILL become the mad cat people (plus the dog and chickens we also want to get [[bugrin]

Pinot · 22/04/2011 09:06

Oh Cavemum I'm so pleased! That's so brilliant - lucky kitties coming home with you. I secretly want chickens too but think they would push my DH over the edge. He already says he lives in a zoo! Better than an asylum is my reply :)

glastoccat Point taken, I'll do more piccies today and upload them. Sorry !

I too am chuffed they moved this to Classics - got a message from MNHQ saying they love this thread too.

Ginger refused to sleep after his 5am feed and squeaked and squealed constantly, crawling all over his sisters and making them meow, so I gave in lay in bed with him snuggling and wriggling all up my side. Delicious little boy he is, he was purring like a good'un (think he knew he was getting sneaky extra attention and should have been asleep).

more piccies up [busmile]

Since yesterday, Ginger has put on 50g (from 200g to 250g)
Rosie has put on 10g (from 165g to 175g) and
Meow has put on 20g (from 155g to 175g)

So Ginger wins the fatso prize! Some of that is poo though as he's constipated so I'm massaging vaseline into his butt and off to get some meds in a bit.

Rosie is still breathing in milk but I'm clearing it and she's gaining weight. She even seemed to be using her poorly leg this morning, so I'm hopeful.

Amd Meow is just ridiculously diddy and adorable.

I, however, am utterly knackered!

Can't. Breathe. Too. Cute!

Awwwwww!

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 22/04/2011 12:24

How on earth did I miss this thread? Pinot - your babies are sooo cute and lovely and now I am broody for kittens (I said this out loud, and the dog looked like this Hmm at me - we already have one cat who scares our poor huge little labrador).

I am so glad that these little kittens have found such a loving home, and I am sure your dh will cave in. Bless you!

Pinot · 22/04/2011 12:37

Thanks SDTG :) I've just seen your chocolate lab on your profile - what a gorgeous dog! I love chocolate labs, such a sheen on their coats! Please do get a rescue kitten though - as you'll know from having 3 boys (I have 3 sons too!) 3 is the magic number.... Grin

Great new photos! :o

JaneS · 22/04/2011 12:50

Darn, MNHQ moving this to classics made me lose it and now I'm having to mark my place instead of lurking! Grin

Lovely kitten pics, this thread has been my daily dose of cute for the last few days and I'm coming to rely on it - you should start a blog!

When our cart leaves us Sad we had planned to get 2 kittens as we felt 3 lots of vets bills would be too much but now I am thinking they would be lonely Confused. I have 3 children. 5 fish, 2 snails, 2 guinea pigs. 1 husband. Oh what to do?!?!

Pinot · 22/04/2011 13:07

Fab do you mean 2 kittens would be lonely without an older cat around? I'm missing sleep and my brain isn't switched on full power today, sorry!

KeepCalmAndCurryOn · 22/04/2011 13:08

Cart??

MapofTassie · 22/04/2011 13:13

Love the photos! [busmile]

JustCallMeGrouchy · 22/04/2011 13:15
