I have just searched for it and can't bloody find it.

It was about 3 years ago, was started by cod and was something like 'what snazzy recipes did your mother cook in the 70s' or something.

It was hysterical.

I also loved the thread where we were invaded by the pram huns, Crap Tips (in classics but sadly useless as the links don't work), Shopping lists, "is that you UCM" and "Linda is a hospital administrator"

Also really loved the lefties threads during the election last year.

And my own "fuck I might be pregnant" saga Grin

The one where a woman had some old broken sex toys, and wasn't sure if they were allowed to go to landfill.......

BOF's pouffe - 'I'm sorry, DD's shat on it!!'

Cattleprod · 07/04/2011 12:58

And there was one in style and beauty where one of the MN regulars who doesn't usually venture into that topic was looking for a long draped dress. The way she described her search was hilarious! Can't remember who it was though...

GetOrfMoiLand · 07/04/2011 12:58

Just readinf through that smug thread and it reminds me of TunaPastaBakeGate

Oh god.. the smug thread is wonderful Grin

omnishambles · 07/04/2011 13:01

Mine involved thunderduck and her poinsettia - hilarious. In chat though and so sadly passed.

Also pirate sex and warhammer.

FlamingJamie · 07/04/2011 13:02

Cattleprod - it may have been hully and her "plain blue dress" search

cocolepew · 07/04/2011 13:03

The Thriller wedding dance.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 07/04/2011 13:05

TunaPastaGate reminds me of the poster that was outraged that her nanny? CM? gave her DC M&S raviolli for lunch instead of homemade.

TrillianAstra · 07/04/2011 13:07

cattleprod that was ShowOfHands looking for a maxi dress I think, it was wonderful.

PoledrathePissedOffFairy · 07/04/2011 13:07

GetOrf, have just re-read the bag o'mash thread - it's still funny Grin

Psammead · 07/04/2011 13:07

Tub o' flumps Grin

EduStudent · 07/04/2011 13:08

Cattleprod Enjoy Grin

GetOrfMoiLand · 07/04/2011 13:09

yes Pol we were in our own little world of mashed potato there.

I remember howling at bag'o mash when she posted it.

One of the first threads I read was on AIBU and was about a woman outraged because her cleaner kept piling up her magazines instead of spreading them out attractively. Anyone remember that one?

PortBlackSandwitch · 07/04/2011 13:10

Anyone remember the one where mn were testing a thread for someone and ended it then everyone else came on and started doing < triptych > etc. at the end of sentences and it got very very silly?

littlepigshavebigears · 07/04/2011 13:10

pollychrome
garlic arse
and the piers morgan webchat

GetOrfMoiLand · 07/04/2011 13:11

Yes I remember that Psammead - iirc OP was hf579042 of the sleb gossip thread fame.

Lol at the one

OP posts:
MikeRotch · 07/04/2011 13:12

oh goml have you found it?

NowPlease · 07/04/2011 13:15

There was a weird one where the OP was moaning that non of the school mummies would talk to her and her DH said it was because everyone was jealous that their DS was so good-looking.

It was all strange in it'self, but went really random and hysterically funny further down the page cos one poster had a broken phone and couldn't post "o"s so had to use a zero instead.

I dont know how to find it again though?

Bucharest · 07/04/2011 13:17

The poo on pouffe one.

Lots of the cookery ones. (or that start out as such)

Another personal fave is the one with the irate dad who wanted to sue god know's who because he had trapped his daughter's hand in a plane toilet door, but it was somehow everyone else's fault?

GetOrfMoiLand · 07/04/2011 13:17

No Mike - have looked under 'snazzy' and it isn't there. Mind you you probably typed it wrong Wink

Didn't you find it last year for the MNHQ anniversart fave threads?

OP posts:
MikeRotch · 07/04/2011 13:18

yes and ORIGINAL tech found it on a guest visit to mn hq

( behind the printer i think)

GetOrfMoiLand · 07/04/2011 13:18
