I have just searched for it and can't bloody find it.

It was about 3 years ago, was started by cod and was something like 'what snazzy recipes did your mother cook in the 70s' or something.

It was hysterical.

I also loved the thread where we were invaded by the pram huns, Crap Tips (in classics but sadly useless as the links don't work), Shopping lists, "is that you UCM" and "Linda is a hospital administrator"

Also really loved the lefties threads during the election last year.

And my own "fuck I might be pregnant" saga Grin

The grammer police thread when we were invaded by Bounty.

One that's in classics (I think) where someone was ranting that we were all stuck up lizard bitches.

The pomander thread.

The one about the nanny giving the child ready made pasta.

The one about the child taking a supersoaker to a picnic.

MikeRotch · 07/04/2011 13:22

i bumped it

MrsChemist · 07/04/2011 13:22

Oh and I think it was Reality that linked to a thread recently where someone had called their DD Slithery Ann.

MrsChemist · 07/04/2011 13:23

And garlic up the arse. Even though many people thought it wasn't true, it was still bloody hilarious.

PoledrathePissedOffFairy · 07/04/2011 13:23

Oh god, there#'s someone called kittylouise posting on the snazzy thread - who came up with that as a username??

misdee · 07/04/2011 13:23

savaged minmin

SleepyCaz · 07/04/2011 13:24

The plate stuck down the back of the bog. Was that the bobble plate one?

Hilarious!!

sis · 07/04/2011 13:24

4 pages in and no mention of mad tablecloth lady?!

TheCrackFox · 07/04/2011 13:25

Linda is a hospital administrator - i loved that thread, just so funny.

Another really good trolling thread was something like "how dare my MIL criticise my DD's name". Everyone piled in and agreed that the MIL was out of order, the OP didn't reveal for about 10 pages that the name was "Slither".

IncontinentiaBotox · 07/04/2011 13:25

Um, the thread about the garlic up the arse for threadworm was TRUE

I swear it

I still tingle when I think about it

misdee · 07/04/2011 13:26

ballsofsteels in-law threads. i applaud that lady!

TheCrackFox · 07/04/2011 13:29

Amateur Arse doctor was stangley compelling.

NowPlease · 07/04/2011 13:30

getorf can you find that zeroes thread? - I can't.

[Sad]

cybbo · 07/04/2011 13:30

I guffawed and banged my head on desk in equal measure at SuperSoaker thread

remember that?

MrsChemist · 07/04/2011 13:31

I believed you incontenentia Smile

I think the supersoaker thread is still around

Bucharest · 07/04/2011 13:33

Oh yes, Slither,I'd forgotten that!

MrsChemist · 07/04/2011 13:33

Supersoaker thread

BrokenBananaTantrum · 07/04/2011 13:35

the clay cock was really funny and the Penguin thread but the one about the mum who had 4 of here own kids in bed and then was left with her friends tiy baby and no formula was brilliant. everyone on that thread was great.

TrillianAstra · 07/04/2011 13:37

What was the one that coined the phrase "chavspirational"?

I stil want some purple Le Creuset, and I don't care if it's not really posh.

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 07/04/2011 13:38

One I read in classics where someone went missing (allegedly kidnapped by MNHQ and the other posters went on a covert mission to rescue them!
Getorfmoilands pregnancy thread, which should absolutely be in classics right now!

esselle · 07/04/2011 13:38

I laughed so much at the thread where the OP meant to call her DS a 'whiney tinker' while in the doctors waiting room and accidentally called him a 'tiny wanker' instead!

I think it was megglevache.

GetOrfMoiLand · 07/04/2011 13:38

No I have no idea where to start with that zeroes thread Sad

Mike thanks for bumping the snazzy thread - tragic thing is all the icod posts have been deleted.

I loved rereading that.

Lol at Poledra and kittylouise

For out and out laughs 'cube of poo' and 'river of sweetcorn' had me howling, so did 'linda is a ...' and 'penguingate'

But my absolute fave is 'Peter is Pink' - I cried buckets...Smile

GetOrfMoiLand · 07/04/2011 13:39

Me! Me! I coined chavspirational

My pregnancy thread was in chat so has gorn I think.

I read the penguin one as a newbie and not only did I lose an entire evening of my life, but I laughed till I cried - a great introduction to the madhouse and still the best thread ever.

For impact - and fun (remember the haikus and everyone namechanging to Garry) - the threads on the 'career women make bad mothers' ad campaign where mrsbaldwin led the onslaught of furious mumsnetters and got the campaign taken down within a week. MN at its other best.
