I know there was no time and I feel all weighed down with the responsibility of it all, but here we are ladies, a new home...

Awww Momma xxxx

piximon · 12/03/2009 22:28

Quick hello all.

Momma I'm glad things went as well as they could.

TKB Happy birthday to the dts.

We've been hit by bug after bug in the pixi house. I have a lingering cold which ds3 has now caught with a passion that keeps him up all night with red rimmed eyes, coughing his little lungs up. Am getting so worried about how small he is. He's hardly eating and my milk seems barely able to support him, he looks like he's wasting away.

Anyway should attempt to get some sleep as have driving lesson at 9am, I am not enjoying learning, I just can't get it.

MarsLady · 13/03/2009 07:56

Morning!

Good luck with the driving lesson Pixi.

Glad your nan had a good send off Momma.

Can't believe the "little girls" are 4! Wow that happened quickly didn't it.

Trips! You be sure to have the birthday that you want!

FG glad your wee one's back.

School run...bye!!!!!!!!!

Neddie · 13/03/2009 08:13

Hi all
God you lot talk a lot. I have been making time for friends to combat my depression and it seems to be working. Still can't sleep though. We are awaiting the mortgage decision today so I am very nervous. Didn't sleep again last night- my DP suggested something called Valerian which is supposed to be safe in pregnancy. I would read up before taking it just in case.
I am very worried about how huge I am going to get in the next few months, especially as the consultant lady told me I would have to go full term for my twins cesarian! I don't think I'll make it as the babies are gaining days each scan! Me thinks another two whoppers on their way.

Momma, that is a lovely thing to hear xxxxxx. Do you have a great picture of your nana about your own age? I adore photographs and that generation really went the extra mile what with Sunday clothes on and getting a portrait done. It was just the done thing since not many had cameras. Happy the day was ok and I hope she is enjoying the bright other side of life I have decided to come back as a pelican since I heard they eat 30% of their body weight at meal times.

ROFL PMSL - my mum and dad - Dotster and Harryster just came to visit. They got down on the floor with their Great Grandson and played. Then neither of them could get up I have had to help both of them up - Dotster farting away and laughing!! They have taken Lew for a walk - with my dad moaning about the buggy 'supermarket trolley wheels'

HarrogateMum · 13/03/2009 12:45

Dingdong - that would be fab! Will email you.

TKB, Happy Birthday to the DTs!

Oooogs happy birthday in advance for your DTs in case we forget!

Neddie - glad that RL is helping with friends etc, just don't forget us.

Hoochie sorry for your Nana, but glad it went well (can you say that about a funeral?).

Shabbiefrog, I will be up your way (ish) next week as Tim's Nana died(94) and her funeral is in Preston. Will send a wave just that bit further.

Did anyones elses DTs start tantrums at 15 months? DS is throwing some beauties! Any advice supermums?

Tantrums... ah yes... halcyon days

Distraction
Ignoral

Two vital elements in tantrumming. You have to make your response dull, so no drama etc so that DS sees that there's not much point. When the tantrum is done and he's doing what it is you wanted or something that he's taken himself out of the tantrum to do give him lots of attention.

I used to step over mine and go elsewhere. They didn't tantrum long.
