I know there was no time and I feel all weighed down with the responsibility of it all, but here we are ladies, a new home...

Morning!

Why am I awake even though dd5 has decided not wake up for a feed like she usually does? .

We got home with dd4 on Thurs afternoon - she didn't seem very impressed to be back and was quite grumpy for a while. She seems to be settling back in and is gradually getting less clingy with dh (proper Daddy's girl!). We know she's feeling better because we're getting 'knock, knock' jokes again and yesterday she bit dt1, which hasn't happened for a while . Needless to say, dt1 was not too happy about that!!

Busy week this week too. Tomorrow the community nurse is coming, my health visitor is ringing (she's one of the rare good ones ) plus we have someone from the hospice reviewing the care plan. Thursday I have a meeting with dd4's paediatrician at the local hospital (not looking forward to that one ) and Friday back to the cardiac unit for an appointment with the cardiologist.

LOL Rubester!!

I have a hormonal 'pre-teen' who is silently refusing to finish the 7 (yes seven) pieces of homework that were set on Friday for him to do before tomorrow!!!!!!! He has just one left to do - an essay for music about a toy shop that comes to life at night????????????? FGS - what?????

He has just said 'Mum - how come the top set get all this homework and the bottom set get a free laptop for their time at school, bribed to actually go into school with money (!!!!!!!!) and no homework.

Im afraid Im stuck for an answer.

God Im in a grumpy mood today, everyone watchout! Day started by H saying "lets go to Dover Castle, theres a spy event on". So good old mum packs a pic-nic, her side is blardy blardy sore, been awake half the night, off we go and its freezing, blowing a hoolie as the castle as you might know sits on top of a hill overlooking the channel. Within mins the kids are hungry, want to go to the gift shop, you know what I mean girls. H has booked us on the 11.30pm secret tunnels tour, food and drink not allowed, tour time 45 mins, we have done those tunnels 3 times already! Out we come, via another gift shop, Becca doesnt want lunch but a £2.79p lollipop, James cries because he cant have a £7.99p wooden sword, we have two snapped in half in the shed, Thomas wants to come home! We then fnd a pi-nic table and like the brave Brits we are sit and freeze having lunch, then trek half a mile back to the car and are home within two hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Spent the whole afternoon gutting Beccas bedroom, have bathed two out of three, and as a treat H ordered £25 worth of chinese, first time I havent cooked supper since time began....................it was disgusting..........claggy sauce, soggy batter..........quite disgusting and disappointing..................and now he has just emptied Gladys and I could throw up! Oh girls, life is very frustrating atm, am I being a bad bad mother and wife?

shabster · 04/05/2009 21:37

OMG Trips - we have days very similar to that. You are not a bad mum or wife - at all, in any way.

shabster · 05/05/2009 06:25

There msut be something in the air! Sounds like everything is going wrong all over the place!

I got a repair bill for my car last week £3500+VAT. Car has now been evicted and I have no car for 8 weeks til the new one gets in. How long does it take to make a car...
Means I can't take the boys to school now, unless I check out the dodgy once an hour bus service.

Feel very stressed. Tempted to buy a banger for the two months, would be cheaper than paying £150 a week to hire one, but don't really want to spend the money. Will see how long I can cope before the padded cell loomns.
