A new thread!
Especially for throckenholt

I was hoping the original one would go to 1000, but it was gettign a but annoying scrolling all the way done, so come over here instead.

How is everyone coping with the school holidays?

I'm fed up with the rubbish weather, as we're stuck in the house too much. I daren't take them to soft play as it packed during the hols and then I can't watch all four of them. Plus it costs a fortune.
Mine are changing so much. Rav is becoming a right wuss, scared of new places. I suppose it shows awareness, but it is annoying when I've driven miles for a nice day out and he just wants to sit and whine because he is too scared to go on anything! Shay is developing his houdini skills, and now has a tendancy to bolt out of parks so I have to watch him like a hawk. I must dig out the reins before we go on holiday.

harrogatemum · 19/10/2006 21:09

frumpy that was a Freudian slip - you typed Gin instead of grin........is that because I am harassing you to get the bottle open as I drive up the motorway.......

well I would if I wasnt spending most of the night on all fours as its the only comfy position.......owwwwwwwwwww.

KellyKrueger1978 · 19/10/2006 21:11

  • hellooooooo, let mrs fg come and see us, will u!

KellyKrueger1978 · 19/10/2006 21:12

harrogatemum · 19/10/2006 21:15

Ignore me if my pregnancy addled marshmallow brain has just made that up.

KellyKrueger1978 · 19/10/2006 21:19

You are right hm, I couldn't remember! Just read that her hubby is half singhalese too which explains some of her last post to me! Twins really do kill of brain cells.

mars book thread here Don't suppose you have any 30's poetry, you know, nice light reading! Only one I may have out of that is rebecca which she has sorted!

harrogatemum · 19/10/2006 21:30

hmmm dont have any of those books although would have had the Chekhov at one stage as little known fact about me is that my degree is in Russian so I'm sure I studied some of his plays in the dim and distant past at uni!

KellyKrueger1978 · 19/10/2006 21:59

russian? thats interesting, why did you choose it?

I've read four of those. waiting for godot is brilliant.

frumpygrumpy · 19/10/2006 23:02

I've read Peepo by Janet and Allan Ahlberg lots and lots and lots and lots (including to my younger brother), does that keep me in the club?

HM, I'm keeping a special bottle of gin for you in the cupboard on the left, won't open it until your're ready. Next to the maternity pants and spot cream .

Hi Kelly

KellyKrueger1978 · 19/10/2006 23:04

not that I need it after a bottle of white

harrogatemum · 20/10/2006 08:36

Plum Pie in the sun..I spy........

harrogatemum · 20/10/2006 08:48

sorry wrong book, I was thinking of Each Peach Pear Plum......of course its "heres a little baby one two three" isnt it?

Does anyone think I've gone completely off my rocker?

leoghostlygaela · 20/10/2006 20:27

Just put your feet up and take it ease HM!

I've got some of the Ahlberg books, I think they are great but sadly ds doesn't seem to be as taken by them as I am. Maybe he just needs a bit more time.

I wonder how Doris is doing!

Just reading back through the last few posts on this thread, I am far too sober thest days for this!!!!

frumpygrumpy · 20/10/2006 21:54

HM I could only think of lines ending in bum , no, you're not loopy one bit honey, and none of us has twins nor twitches either .

Kelly, I didn't know you were a gin drinker....worry no more..........I'll get DD to pick up another bottle when she gets ma fags and methadone . bad taste frumpy, bad taste

Doris might not read this for another year I suppose.....love to you honey and hope all is well in the Devon camp. I'm sure its not been without ups and downs and we wish you the best of it all.

Kelly, I have two lovely Boden sweatshirt/fleece that are struggling to contain my DT2s tummy now.....would your handsome boys be interested? I hope thats not insulting, its just they are lovely on DT2 and I'm have no one to pass them to. I think they are size 18-24 months.

KellyKrueger1978 · 21/10/2006 12:52

Hi fg,
Thanks for thinking of me, I would love them. If you email me [email protected] I will sort out some payment with you.

frumpygrumpy · 21/10/2006 15:45

Kelly, I'll email you next week when DP disappears again and get your address. Payment schmayment, you're a friend honey!

throckenholt · 21/10/2006 16:12

All quiet on the western front.

frumpygrumpy · 21/10/2006 16:20
