Is there a new thread yet? I can't find one?

@LolaRolo If you "work for the company that owns DA", then I assume you are earning more than we are, which begs the question - what are you doing on this forum?

You appear to be making the assumption that we're stupid and that we don't understand the work we're doing. I very much understand.

If you actually knew what the end result is you would be horrified but you will all see come 2028/2029

If AI's coming to shaft us, then I might has well get some benefit out of the process in the meantime.

Exactly this.
Ridiculous fearmongering

Haha totally.

It's obviously someone who either failed the initial qualification or passed it, and then was let go shortly after. It's just bitterness! I know a lot of people fall by the wayside due to poor work.

I was sceptical about AI before I started this job, but the higher up I've got and the more nuanced the work, the greater I can see its benefit.

AdaShelby · 02/05/2025 08:11

We will all end up taken over by AI. Might as well make some money in the meantime

@Indiantealeaves Have you had a drink in the hot sun? There was a time when these threads were all about a couple of companies and if you weren't in they were useless, but they were helpful to those who were in.

Read about the collapse of Rick/Crisp/Revolver, It is in THIS thread and NOWHERE ELSE online, A lot of us were royally shafted when we had come to depend on the money.

This thread is currently heavily DA, there is a reason for that, it's because it's useful to many.

I want Cock Sucking AI Queen on a T-shirt please.

ArtTheClown · 02/05/2025 19:29

Why don’t you make your own thread for the chosen few where you can all rejoice in your success at being cok suk ing AI queens instead of looking down at the rest of us

We could call the thread "I suck grok cock" 😂

Redcrayons · 02/05/2025 19:45

@Indiantealeaves this is a really long running thread, people have been posting about earning opportunities and successes, and warning people off scams since Covid. What do you think we should be posting about it?
if people are working on DA then good for them. I did well on Crisp back in the day. Would never had heard of it without this thread.

PorpoiseWithPurpose · 02/05/2025 19:58

Lay off the tea, mate.

Hahahaha @Indiantealeaves you’re a loon and I love it.

YonderTweek · 02/05/2025 20:26

Omg @Indiantealeaves you've just made my day. 😂

Itsenough4now · 02/05/2025 22:35

Laughing aside I do think AI is going to hoover up a shed load of jobs, and definitely make things harder.

BecauseOfIndia · 03/05/2025 08:28

@LolaRolo / @Indiantealeaves (quite clearly the same person but with a name change) You're the one who is filling this group with unhelpful posts. It's obvious, particularly from your second message/rant, that you were let go by DA. Many of us have been contributing to this thread for years and have worked for a multitude of companies, some paying a pittance. There was a time when this forum was all about Crisp Thinking, because at the time, the pay was the best of the lot.

I'm not bragging, and I'm not laughing at others; very much the contrary. This group has been a financial lifesaver for me, and I was encouraged to join DA because others on here were doing well.

@ElizabethG81 Brilliant! So do I! Let's start a new business making them.

I know that YouGov surveys are a bit of a slow burn one (I earn £50 every 12-13 months) and depends on how many surveys you are sent per month/week but I have been doing them for about 4 years now and averaging £50 tax-free cash/year. You can also convert your points ot gift cards instead.
My referra link here - https://account.yougov.com/gb-en/join?referral=c3dBlqCrHQeLJjxSuijIlA should hopefully give you an intro boost; and give me some points once you have completed 6 surveys (as I said, slow burn).
The surveys ARE interesting & quick to do. Thank you if you use this link!

Turtle066 · 05/05/2025 15:48

Not sure why is it so hard to understand his post. We are all training so called AI that will replace us in the future. These jobs are just a short-term options.

It is what partially happened at Potato as well. It really is horrifying to think about the future.

I also do YouGov, slow but easy.

It is only tax free if you are not earning elsewhere/under the £1,000 threshold though. Survey earnings are taxable and should be included in your self assessment. I was advised of this many, many years ago when I first started doing surveys and contacted HMRC to double check.

That is why I don't do the really low paying long surveys anymore.

Hello £10 crew! How's everyone doing? What's everyone working on at the moment? Anything interesting? 😄

I'm still plodding along on DA and it's been good but I still have this nagging feeling that it's all going to end, like it usually does with these things, and I need to find something else. I can't believe I've been doing crowdsourcing as my main income for 5 years now, all thanks to these threads. They have really saved my ass. Haha. Anyway, I logged on for the first time in ages and just wanted to check in and see how everyone is. Hope you're all earning well. :)

ArtTheClown · 20/08/2025 23:25

Hello! I'm also still doing DA and Telus (formerly Lionbridge). Telus is feeling particularly like it might be on the way out - big chunks of time where there are no tasks available, and some ridiculous stuff with far too short an alloted time. However I persevere as it's okay some of the time.
DA is great, and pays better, but I feel more secure having two things on the go as if one is quiet hopefully I can work the other one.
