Hi all, I've not posted on here for years (and several name changes), since the the start of the lockdown! We were in a precarious situation financially and the tips on here literally kept our mortgage paid and groceries bought.

Just wanted to thank you all for that, not only did it keep us going but I've now been working for Lionbridge (now Telus) for five years, and also now do work for Data Annotation. Absolutely love working from home, and flexibility.

So if I can help anyone in return by answering any questions (up to whatever I'm allowed with the NDAs) then I'll be happy to do so.

What sort of work do you actually do for these organisations? I see them mentioned but I don't see anyone saying what kind of work it actually is. Thanks

Fhjiutwafhmbcff · 15/03/2025 07:20

Does anyone work with neevo these days?
Every now & then they send me an invitation but there are always no tasks even if I try quite soon after the email arrived.
I used to like them but it's been over a year like this.

ArtTheClown · 15/03/2025 13:05

I never got on with Neevo. Poor pay, and then that randomly docked for supposed quality issues. Big chunks of time where nothing is available. I stopped bothering with them years ago.

planningforthefuture · 16/03/2025 15:37

I've timed how long it's taking me for THX vouchers and this last one has been 3 weeks to get £10 - I've had maybe 5 surveys that take about 90 seconds. The rest is the background app that runs.

Referral if anyone is interested (I get 500 points when you reach 1000)

I've just earned my first £10 from them which took nearly 4 weeks, very similar.

ruralwanderer · 20/03/2025 19:24

Hi all, checking back in for the first time in a while and wondering what work people are finding is most lucrative at the moment as my go-to is drying up and my earnings have dramatically reduced as a result. Thanks ☺

ArtTheClown · 20/03/2025 21:21

@ruralwanderer DataAnnotation for me.

justalittlebitextra · 21/03/2025 12:04

@ruralwanderer AI studies via Prolific Academic for me - very much luck of the draw if you get onto them though.

Appen is deader than the Dodo for me now.

ruralwanderer · 21/03/2025 14:19

Thanks, I've previously failed the Data Annotation entry test and Prolific was never a big earner for me 😔 I've been offered more money for the work I'm doing now so hopefully that will, in the short term at least, compensate for the reduction in work 🤞

lilymae21 · 07/04/2025 16:50

Hi
Im looking for WFH job, was on crisp/resolver but thats gone now so am looking for something similar to that, if anyone knows of anything at all i would appreciate it

KitKatKathy · 10/04/2025 06:16

It is not a huge earner, but it is consistent and I get a £5 amazon voucher ever 4-5 weeks for doing VERY little with Microsoft Rewards:

My referal link is below - If you join and complete the clickthrough's we both receive 650 points which gets us well on our way to a voucher.

(You need to scroll down a tiny, then it is the orange button on the left).

Join Microsoft Rewards through your friend's link and start earning!

Hey! I've been earning amazing rewards with Microsoft Rewards, and you can join too!

In home product trial with £20 reward.
I was screened out so don't know exactly what it is for, but they sent me a link to share:

And for anybody not yet signed up to Topcashback, they are running another referral scheme righ tnow.

If you sign up and start using them (I find them excellent for most on-line shopping especially for renewing home/car insurance & internet) you earn £10 and I earn as well.

Link here - https://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/sandybean

Many thanks if you sign up!

Slave2thekitty · 19/04/2025 16:43

Quidco (the other main cash-back website) is currently runnning their referral scheme.
If you sign up via my link; you earn £20 after you have £5 confirmed cash-back.
I find Quidco seems to track the click-throughs & transactions more smoothly than TopCashBack.
Thank you if you use this link!

Another one that is ticking over nicely for me is Qmee - It is all the usual surveys but there is no cash out limit, so if you earn £1, you can cash-out £1 (paypal or gift card. I've earnt £14.52 this month which isn't going to get me a holiday in the Bahamas, but would pay for the sunscreen ;)

Here is my referral code, should you fancy joining :)

Is anyone still on DA? Has anyone applied for the internal jobs? I was invited to apply but haven't heard anything back and I feel I may have messed up the qualification. D'oh!

No news here really. DA has been my main income for about 18 months now and I would be in a sticky situation without it. I do hope they keep me on for a while because I love it. Fingers crossed!

Do people still use Ap? I think they changed their name a while ago. I logged on but it looked confusing so I haven't been back. I do miss A**r though. It was the highlight of my month. 😍

I deleted mine
Kept getting refused surveys.

I'm with DA, since January only though.

I had the same problem. I signed up last night and was screened out several times after answering personal questions.

BecauseOfIndia · 26/04/2025 08:03

@YonderTweek I've been on DA for over a year and love it, it is my main source of income too. Not sure what you mean about 'internal' jobs? I'm worried now! I have loads of projects and have steadily moved up the pay scales but haven't been offered an actual job with them other than freelancing. Is it a waged position? I was recently offered a very high-paying and secretive project, so I feel secure in my position there at least for a while.

mangomama91 · 26/04/2025 20:24

I've managed to make £57 this month on QMee!
I don't know how much time I spent on there and I did get refused quite a few times too but I feel like the more surveys you do, the more surveys you actually pass to get to do.

If anyone would like my like for 50p each it's

I'm not sure if it's waged or not. I just got an email and then an application popped up on my main page. I think they send them to lots of people periodically and I have been working a lot recently, so perhaps that's why I got it. I hope it leads somewhere interesting, but I would be happy working on the platform as it is. It's literally the best job I've ever had. 😄

LolaRolo · 30/04/2025 07:38

Why do you think your paid so much to work on DA? If you actually knew what the end result is you would be horrified but you will all see come 2028/2029. I work for the company that owns DA not for much longer. Good luck
