Has anyone ever been locked out of their prolific account? I’ve tried all the instructions online and sent a request to their support team but haven’t had any response.

Does anyone ever see any banners etc for Pinecone Research anymore?
Haven't seen one for years now.
Used to be a member then forgot password and couldn't get back in

I still do Pinecone only get one or 2 surveys a month. I do have a refer a friend link if you want to join.

I joined Pinecone earlier this year - I think you can just do it from their website now, no need to watch out for banner ads. I've only had a few surveys though.

I was on the Pinecone panel a few years ago and it was really good. I got some really good products to test and the payments were usually pretty good.
Then They cancelled my account really suddenly without telling me. I only found out when I couldn’t log in and I went back and forwards with support about it for weeks.

Can't believe I've only just discovered Jam Doughnut. You get discounts at shops, restaurants and supermarkets, both in store and online. You buy a voucher which earns you instant cash back then use it to pay for your shopping. It's really easy to use. I earned £10 yesterday with a sign up bonus, ASDA shop and JustEat order. You can also use TopCashback at the same time so double cash back!

On the jam doughnut app you buy a voucher for wherever you're spending. It can be for any amount - my just eat was £24.02 last night so I just bought that amount and added it to my just eat account.
Then go to TopCashback as usual and place your order, paying with your voucher.

JamDonut is really good I've only started using it recently but it's certainly worth it.

Yes, I got the Prolific referral pop up. I said Yes, but haven't a clue what it is.

JamDoughnut is 100% worth it for anyone on the fence. I make back 4% on every Tesco shop which massively adds up.

Re the new Prolific thing, I had a screening survey yesterday (like an IQ test). They 12 hours later got an invite to a £15 survey. It said it would take an hour, but it was more like 30 mins. It was choosing which AI answer was better, and also picking out inaccuracies in AI answers. Nice little job, hopefully more of these to come!

My DH applied to prolific a good few months ago and still hasn't heard anything though.

I think I just did that one today so fingers crossed I'll get the same 🤞🏻

I am no longer on potato. Gave up in late October when I only managed to make £20!! I still have access though and occasionally go in to be nosey, it still looks very quiet. From what I can tell, they are down to one queue and the numbers are low. I haven't been able to find anything to replace it yet but I know my time is still spent better than staring at a fetching screen for hours. I have no idea why people are still working or even moaning about it on slack. I honestly think it's over and will not get better.

I am still on Potato although there is never any work. Yesterday no items came through all day. Wednesday I had 1 item in 5 hours!

I am just interested to see if things change although I am pretty sure they won't. I don't understand why no one is explaining what is going on even though many have asked

Yes. It has been asked several times why the monitoring queue no longer ever has any content and why the moderating queue has so little content but never any answers.

I feel sorry for some of the workers as for quite a few it is their only source of income.

I have never earned that much with them but I quite liked being able to work while watching tv.

Some seem to think things will pick up again but I really can't see that. I can't understand though why if the work is being done by AI or outsourced to another country they don't just stop all content here and have the decency to let everyone know

I'm finding the crisp messages more and more hilarious, although it's starting to turning nasty at this point. They have zero decency and it's a shame but I haven't even tried to do any content in ages. The ones who are making 1p an hour need to give up. I am currently biding my time and will then post a fuck you all and see you later post before flouncing.

I wonder if they’ll just switch it off one day with very little notice.
