@MrsDilligaf are there any terms/conditions that come with the Curve card deal? Do you need to pay in a certain amount etc?

@MrsDilligaf are there any terms/conditions that come with the Curve card deal? Do you need to pay in a certain amount etc?

No need to pay into an account. Curve acts as a wallet, so you have a physical card which you can link your debit cards or credit cards to.

For example I have a couple of credit cards and debit cards in my curve "wallet" I use accounts for different things and can switch between cards in the app.

All you have to do is sign up to curve which is free, link a card to your curve wallet, make 3 transactions of at least £5 using the curve card and you will receive £10.

I travel a couple of times a year and use my card abroad as there are no fees.

Hope that helps.

I've been doing a lot of surveys on Swagbucks, Playing games on misplay etc so my phone has been showing me lots of stuff on Tiktok about side hustles.

Trading 212 are offering FREE shares (mystery value of anything between 8 Euro to 800 Euro according to the T &C's) to people who sign up in within the next 5 days and deposit at least £1.

My referral link here - https://www.trading212.com/invite/HESXRzEa

I also receive a mystery free share.

Last time I did this my free share was worth £12.

Thank you if you use this link!

Shame this has turned into spammy links. Used to be a good thread.

they aren’t all spammy links - easy £30 to be made with Zing on a thread where people are looking to make £10 a day? Referring on even one other person would make you another £30. Easy free money to be made!

It seems like unfortunately a lot of the more ongoing options, e.g. appen projects, have dried up (maybe due to more sophisticated AI now being available to do them instead?), so a lot of what's left for extra income is referrals and sign-up offers 😔

I've also noticed I don't get many free bet offers through anymore so matched betting is also much less lucrative nowadays.

It's tough out there!!

justalittlebitextra · 31/10/2024 17:55

It’s frustrating. After 18 months of tumbleweed I just had a brilliant 6 weeks of an Appen project, before the rug got pulled. Gutted, as I had hoped it would run until Christmas.

AdaShelby · 31/10/2024 20:12

@Amandafm add them to the promo code section then.

I have done but don’t see the issue for those looking to earn £10 a day being given the chance to earn £30 for 5 minutes of their time. Not sure the difference between earning doing surveys and earning more with a referral code.

BecauseOfIndia · 01/11/2024 07:40

I have to say that I agree, people endlessly spamming referrals is really annoying. Maybe we should start a new thread with all of the earning options pinned at the top like they used to be? And then people can discuss which ones are still worthwhile. I agree that earning options are limited but there are still ones out there like DA, Telus, Userlytics and Utest.

arejcenencehche3uh9f3 · 01/11/2024 11:32

I agree re the spammy links and actually reported the multiple ones by the same poster above although I see they are still there.

arejcenencehche3uh9f3 · 01/11/2024 11:34

I think it's fine to mention things that are good (WeWard and Prime Opinion are a complete waste of time btw) but posting multiple links that benefit the poster in question is a bit off IMO.

The link I have posted benefits both as both myself and person referred receive £30. That same person can then refer on friends and family for £30 each referral up to £600. Just trying to earn a bit myself whilst also helping others do the same.

Good idea, I'll report too. These threads have been a lifeline for loads of us over the years and it's shitty that one poster is spamming their own links.

Maybe it is time to do the new ones every month again.

BecauseOfIndia · 02/11/2024 08:13

@Amandafm My problem isn't with people like you posting the odd referral, it's with people like the other poster, who frequently visits this group just to spam it. I have never seen the other poster contribute any content other than referrals.

I have reported the posts too.

I wasn't referring to you, it was the poster who posted multiple links at once (and has done so in the past) that annoyed me.

Hi there,
We're getting a few reports asking for posts that are 'spamming' codes to be deleted, and we can see why to be honest as it's not really in the spirit of this thread as a whole?
No harm, no foul, but could we ask that these posts are kept to the Promotional Codes & Bargains Forum | Mumsnet | Mumsnet in future please?

helpmethankyou · 06/11/2024 12:55

I genuinely did not mean my post as spam Blush it helped me so i thought it would help others. And it was in the same vein as many other posts and referrals and entirely genuine.

I'm really upset to be singled out when i was sharing something that would benefit people looking for some extra income.

Do you think it would help if we started a fresh thread? And Put ground rules, which one is obviously not to share links for referrals.

helpmethankyou · 06/11/2024 12:57

I've been on MN over 18 years :(

Alloveragain3 · 06/11/2024 13:50

@helpmhelpmethankyou I agree, others have shared referrals (I think I did downthread too!), and it was never said we shouldn't. Don't take it personally, we're all here to save money x
