Did you get a sign-up link for the payment platform? I've started work on a project but just realised the link didn't come through following my initial registration with them. Am going to email to follow-up but would be good to know how long it took to come through if you got one.

I signed up the other month but never had the payment link come through. They did send details of one job but I did not apply.

I signed up and did the payment platform setup but haven't had any work from them. I thought I read that they won't give you work until you've set up payment details with them but that must be wrong.

I completed the core assessment for DA yesterday, crossing everything and obsessively checking back constantly!

I stopped search sciences, I was only getting 2-300 word pieces and they were taking me an hour a go so it wasn't worth it. Could really do with something to bring in some extra pennies though!

I came across this thread and have signed up for some of the sites mentioned here. I've just had a welcome email from RWS (yay!) Can anyone who works for RWS advise how long you waited for your first project? Also how many hours of work you get on average?

I've been applying for weekend jobs to fit around childcare, but I'm wondering whether this might actually be enough!

I was waiting for the payment link to come through with RWS and it did finally come through about 2 weeks ago but not had any work yet.

Aww I'm sad that A**r has come to an end. It was a fairly consistent thing for a good couple of years. I loved it whenever I got selected. Good times. 😄Hopefully there will be something similar coming up soon.

Just wondering how the newish DA people have been getting on?

I passed in mid March and had the welcome email, then a load of Quals (I earned $5 for one of them which remained as my balance since then).

After that...nothing! No projects ever available, just the odd Qual, usually the super quick 'Do you have a subscription to X' which I always did. I'd pretty much given up hope because it's been 3 months without any projects but still checked every few days just in case.

Then yesterday evening, no warning, suddenly I had about 10 projects appear, all with a couple of hundred tasks on. All different versions of the same project, between $22 and $24 an hour. I've managed to do 1.5 hours today (Sunday is a really bad day for me!) so my balance is now sitting on $40, including the fiver that's been there since March 😂

Really keeping my fingers crossed this isn't a fluke! Just blows my mind how I went three months with zilch before any projects appeared...anyone else had such a gap?

@UseItOrloseItt I've been on for about a week now, I've always got at least 1 project available, sometimes more. No idea how it works though! It was a busy week last week so I only managed to flit in and out to get a feel for the platform, but I'm hoping it might be the answer to helping us get out of debt more quickly 🤞🏻

Mine is much more up and down. So yesterday I did 2.5 hours work in total. But throughout the day my page went from 10 projects with 2000+ tasks, to zero after I took an hours break. Then there were 5 projects and I worked on one until tasks ran out - empty project section again, the other 4 must have been worked through too. An hour later it was full again!

Currently sitting on empty so I'm hopeful something comes back again today.

I'd love to always have something there though, would be so much easier time-wise.

I'm not new - I've been on DA for about a year now. I've learnt not to rely on it at all. I had regular well paying projects for months, probably 15-20 on my dashboard, all interesting and I was loving it. Then in February it was empty. No explanation, no response to emails. I know I haven't been dumped because I get qualifications and the occasional project, but whereas I used to work consistently 4-5 hours a day, I'm lucky if I can get half an hour in before all the tasks are gone. Some days there is nothing at all. It's disheartening but I'm hoping it'll pick up again at some point. I just wish they'd communicate more!

Maybe I've been reading and watching too much Sci-fi and horror but am finding Neev0 a bit strange at the mo.
One task recently was asking for recordings of a human voice to be read in the style of a tv advert.
New job is now to rate voice recordings which seem to be those human voice recordings of that other job. Bit weird, no?
Are we just doing pointless tasks and then analysing ourselves - not sure to what end, but I find it v bizarre and the tinfoil hat person that lurks within me is a little suspicious.

@SlurpSlooChortle Neevo is always like that. Some people do the job then other people rate it. I was going to do the rating job today but I'm feeling a bit unwell so not up to focussing.
