UC disabled child backdate

A few people are waiting for the uc backdate for the disabled child element. So thought I'd make a thread about it instead of doing it on the dla thread lol x

@Bvbvbv yeah when I rang up he said case manager most have loads and all depends on how much your case manager has with how long it takes x

Hey everyone. Followed you all from the DLA thread. So I applied the changes on Friday, and received two letters on the account today, one regarding disabled child element and one carers. Both letters say that the reasons behind the delay are accepted basically. But what happens now? It doesn’t say about backdated pay or anything? Just says the decision maker has accepted the special circumstances. I’ve writ a note on the journal but i didn’t get them till gone 5 tonight so was after that. Thanks x

@xxkayleighxx17 @Chay123 I declared everything on 27th September. Someone called me on 28th to check it was all correct and then sent off for payment to be authorised. Then got a letter today saying they owe me money, how much and when I'll get it x
