UC disabled child backdate

A few people are waiting for the uc backdate for the disabled child element. So thought I'd make a thread about it instead of doing it on the dla thread lol x

Well I rung again the man i spoke to said it wasnt unusual for these things to drag on for a few months 😔 an that my case managers work loads must be big as they haven't got round to it yet!

@Oilytoe90 I know I'm just fed up of waiting and being palmed off! It's so annoying! I rang carers to see if any decision its with a dm and they said shouldn't be much longer if its with a dm x

We get paid on Friday and have no idea if we are going to get this backdate before or after. I'm so frustrated x

@Oilytoe90 I'm due to get paid next week, the man I spoke too said it wouldn't be with my uc payment it's a total different payment he said x

@Shannon26 u would think they would sort it before your next payment tho tbh x

@Oilytoe90 yeah I agree, I really don't understand how some people wait a few days and I've waited over a month now this will be my second monthly payment since waiting, they're useless x

@Oilytoe90 yeah I hope so like fingers crossed it's not too much longer, wouldn't be too bad if they could actually tell you when to expect it even if it wasn't for awhile, but it's the constant checking for it! & being ignored 🙁 x
