Can anyone help me with clickwoker? I've got two invoices in my account but they haven't been paid into my PayPal. I'm wondering if this is because of the tax information. What am I supposed to put in for this?

I've tried putting in my national insurance number and another random number from a payslip of mine, but it still comes up with the same message saying the need my tax information up be paid?

Now set up on Utest, need to do the academy stuff.

Also registered with Crisp, passed the initial test, will wait and see what happens with that.

No jobs on Appen, is that normal? I'm at level zero, with zero jobs completed (apart from the welcome one), and zero jobs available to me.

I'm tempted by Cloudworkers, I don't mind the adult aspect, but I'm guessing it's mostly evenings, which is not great for me.

What is Clickworkers?

I’m with utest and have had no luck with any research , what is the academies thing about?

@wildnightswildnights Did you verify your phone no?I think it's required.Also you need to save details every time you access it.They pay on Weds so if you don't get paid then email support and ask them.They normally come back to you with an answer after a couple of days.

Can I ask a question on Appen invoicing? I have tried to find the answer on their site but I'm still not sure. I did one task at the end of July and it's one of those ones where the invoice is automatically generated, so am I right in saying that I just need to wait for the invoice to appear in my invoices? There is an option to create an invoice but I'm not sure I'm able to do it yet. I've just seen a message about July invoice deadlines and I'm wondering if I have to do something before the deadline? I'm thinking the invoice should pop up shortly and I can then submit it? Sorry if that's something obvious, there is a lot of info on their website and I think I've read too much and my brain has given up. Lol.

@WonderTweek you need to wait for it but it might not be this month. It's worth checking the chat to see if anyone knows. As a general rule, if it's not in for the end of the first day of the month, it'll be next month. I'm waiting on one too. If it's not showing by later tomorrow I'll submit mine. Closing is the 5th this month. So you can wait if till then. Does that make sense?

Is anyone doing the image collection tasks on Neevo?

I was thinking of doing the profile photo one where eyes or mouth are covered. I think a quick way to do it is to take photos of yourself in different situation with hand over mouth etc.
Would this be accepted or does it have to be from the internet?

I just got paid another tiny amount from Neevo for job GENEN0MT5S which is the "does the speech match the transcript"
This is the one where I did 511 and then they said my work didn't meet quality standards.
So they paid me 34 tasks a while ago and then they've just paid me 44.
So out of 511 they've paid 78 :s
Do you think there'll be more? Maybe that's how many they've managed to validate and agree with and haven't got round to the rest because I cannot fathom them letting me get to 511 then stopping me if I had only got 78 right.

is anyone doing the Neevo one where you have to say if the utterance "hey google/corbit" or similar matches the text? Part of the task is to tick appropriate check list if it doesn't match i.e unnatural voice/non native speaker etc
Problem is that the checklist doesn't come up on any of mine- just clicks to next recording

@Horehound I seem to get paid in bits. They've definitely paid me for a full job but in 2-3 installments, so I reckon that's just how they do it. I had weeks between payments for the same job but eventually I did get paid for everything for that job.

@seizethecuttlefish Thanks! I did think I should hang about a little, especially as it's not really letting me do anything at this stage. I forgot there was a chat! I'll definitely bear that in mind if I ever get stuck in the future.

@horehound, I worked on GENEN0MT5S and got paid about $8 a few days after I started and then today received the balance, as in, I was paid for 100% of the tasks I did. I don't know if this means today's payments are the final totals for everyone though? I've only just started with Neevo and am still trying to figure it all out.

On that note, can I ask are you always told when you're blocked from a job because of low quality or do you sometimes just get the no more tasks available message?

And a huge thank you for these threads. I'd vaguely noticed they were around before but only had a proper look and started trying stuff out last month. Just Neevo, Clickworker and Prolific at the moment, but it seems to be going well. I've set myself a target of £100 month, but I've hopefully made at least double that in 20 days last month...if I get the payments I think I'd due on Neevo...

I can't see why uploading pics of yourself wouldn't be allowed for the image collection tasks, Horehound. Seems like a good solution.

@peelpeelthebanana I only know about the quality issue because you can see it on your work history. It's in small writing in the job, so if you don't see it then it's likely you just completed it all

Same thing happened to me, and yes i agree with a previous poster - they do all sound American. I ended up getting booted off it for "work not meeting quality standards" . Slightly annoying considering the check list doesn't even appear

I have just received a second payment for GENEN0MT5S on Neevo. I did 3704 tasks and they have paid me for all of them.

I have never had a problem with Neevo not paying

@lynsey91 just want to see...did you have a quality message? Because if not I guess they can just fire ahead and pay you whereas for me they will need to check every single entry

Thanks @bluelefant and @dirtyfries will try your suggestions for Clickworker.

I've had a rubbish start, only made about £5 so far and got nothing going on on Neevo or Clickworker really, and constantly screened out of Usertesting. Hopefully things will pick up in the week!

Is the image collection on Neevo worth doing? Where are you actually supposed to get the images from, just google?
