What jobs were you getting @DownThePlath

I have the audio text correction one, the insurance/retail one although I'm about to complete those, then the other two calls at the lower rate, and the one with the five responses.

None of them are interesting to me so I'm intrigued to know what you have!!

DownThePlath · 28/08/2020 20:20

@Horehound
Yep, i'm on about the five responses one Grin I'm not sure why, but I'm just finding it more interesting than the same old audio correction tasks. It may just be me that's enjoying it though 😂

Rad2016 · 28/08/2020 20:53

@MrsWombat goodness me. My first project today and Lord oh Lord....it has taken me almost the whole day to figure things out. Confused. Finally got there in the end but I hope its really worth it

Mancbee · 28/08/2020 22:39

I've just done the UHRS qualification hit to be able to do the re write tasks.
I liked those ones when I did them a while ago so I was happy to see that come up but 2 attempts and I failed Confused
It just seemed a bit off to me, more than one error so I had no chance of passing, is it just me or has anyone else done it and passed?

margaritasbythesea · 29/08/2020 09:41

Great news Otterses. Keep us posted on your inteevuew. Exciting but nerve wracking I am sure.

Nets888 · 29/08/2020 10:11

Good morning! I've just signed up on Neevo. Can anyone tell me how often do you get jobs? How much do you earn roughly in a month? Thanks.

WonderTweek · 29/08/2020 10:50

@Mancbee UHRS seems to be very hit and miss. Sometimes I did really well and sometimes it kept failing me even though I was sure I was right. I've since stopped using them and Clickworker because they ripped me off, but it sounds like some people are making money off them. It does seem like they are very random with their judgements. Confused

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 29/08/2020 11:39

@Mancbee I failed that too. I haven't earned $20 on UHRS (my self-determined weekly goal) for months now, although I did earn $40 across the whole site last week which was unexpected.

@Nets888 the work on Neevo is up and down - there's been quite a bit recently but it depends if you want to do it for the money. You may have read that they don't always pay you what you are owed (quality assurance issues). So earnings can yoyo and depend on how much time you have to do the jobs. Also, not all jobs are paid speedily. I was paid yesterday for the most recent one I've done (circa $200) but still have outstanding payments from work done six weeks ago or so. I would say probably at least $200 pcm is very doable but you can't 'bank' on it. When I first signed up, I did a fair bit the first month then nothing for the next month (I wasn't offered any tasks). Not sure if it works that the more you do (and the longer you've been on their books) the more they offer you?

Nets888 · 29/08/2020 11:51

@NewModelArmyMayhem18, I would be happy with $200 per month! How many hours do you have to work in order to earn $200? I'm a SAHM so looking for more online jobs. £500 per month is my goal.

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 29/08/2020 12:41

Hi @Nets888 the hourly rate isn't great. A recent audio transcription 'tagging' one paid $0.1 per completed task. I would say I've got quicker (and the tagging has got simpler too) but would be surprised if I can do 100 in less than an hour (and possibly more like 80 minutes if there are lots of adjustments and tags to be made). I think the secret is to aim to do the jobs in clusters, so you earn a decent amount in one sitting.

The more sites you're on the more you can earn but jobs are quite unpredictable (as is pay!). I signed up to Teemworker about three months ago and haven't had anything from them yet at all.

Nets888 · 29/08/2020 12:45

@NewModelArmyMayhem18 thanks!

NewModelArmyMayhem18 · 29/08/2020 13:09

@Nets888 I am a relative newbie to all of this though, so others may say different!

MrsWombat · 29/08/2020 13:37

Lots of work on Crisp today. Brew

WonderTweek · 29/08/2020 13:39

Neevo have been good to me this month. I must have got around 300 dollars so far, which is way beyond my expectations. I do a lot of listening/validation tasks whilst I'm doing other stuff, so I may be cooking or tidying up or even on the exercise bike and just clicking away. The pay per task is a bit measley but if you stick at it and do a solid hour here and there it all adds up.

Having said that, I have signed up to a million different sites because pay is very unpredictable so I don't want to put all of my eggs in one basket.

Nets888 · 29/08/2020 14:09

Regarding Neevo, can the tasks be done on smartphone?

Also, regarding tax return, I understand you only need to fill in if income is over £1000. Bit what if half the income is from Amazon vouchers?

WotsitWiggle · 29/08/2020 15:10

@Nets888 I'm doing the audio validation on my smartphone, but the one where you had to type 5 responses just took too long, and I haven't done the IVR yet as I think you need a screen and a phone

The current validation one is much better than the one from a week ago, I've submitted about 620 in an hour so hopefully they'll meet quality standards. I'll do some more later if it's still available.

Nets888 · 29/08/2020 15:26

@WotsitWiggle, thanks. Waiting for my first job!

seizethecuttlefish · 29/08/2020 19:51

Anyone on A done the Kn@@ quiz? WTH?

Horehound · 29/08/2020 20:19

I seem to be doing a lot on Neevo but getting paid tiny amounts every few days. I'm really getting fed up with them.

What tasks were you doing @WonderTweek?

Gatekeeper · 29/08/2020 20:59

I signed up to Kn@@ but haven't been given a quiz to do?????

WonderTweek · 29/08/2020 21:53

@Horehound It's the same for me mostly, just the occasional dollar coming in here and there, but I did a stupid amount of those call validation jobs that paid 10p a pop, and I have done a few jobs where I've reached 500-1000 tasks and generally that's where I have been getting the occasional $50. I'm just so stubborn that I will spend ages clicking (although multitasking) because I want to make as much money as possible and I haven't got much else going on at the moment as I haven't got any proper project work on at the moment. Grin But yeah, call validation and checking pronunciation jobs are my main ones.

I jinxed it though because now I have absolutely nothing to do on Neevo...

Horehound · 29/08/2020 22:02

@WonderTweek
Yeh I even went to do the five responses and it says no tasks!
I think I will do the calls for 22cents tomorrow but I'm not sure they still have tasks left of those.hmmm

I know what you mean I like to multitask doing jobs. I want to make back the money I spend in a month, not household bills or anything but say I buy a top, I'd like to recover the costs. I'm about to go back to work after maternity so I'm going to have steady income again but I want to make more more more lol

moretime · 30/08/2020 04:59

If anyone is interested in adult phone chat or text chat this is good

refer.adultwork.com/?R=5471393

MrsWombat · 30/08/2020 06:45

@Gatekeeper I signed up and haven't been invited to do the quiz either. I've only noticed that I've not been invited since turning 40. I'm a bit paranoid about it now!

WonderTweek · 30/08/2020 09:15

That's a bit weird. I was taken to the quiz immediately when I applied. Not sure if this is going to work out for me though as I can't log in to their system and I've not heard back from them when I got in touch. Sad I'll have to wait and see...

@Horehound I know what you mean. If I buy something outside of the usual groceries I want to make the money back. Grin Although originally I started doing this because I need to find a bit of extra to cover extra nursery fees. Because of Covid my son's nursery are cutting the number of half days you're allowed to have so if we want to keep him in nursery (which he loves) we have to book him in for a couple of full days instead of half days, which obviously costs more. Hmm
