I'm sorry but if she ate one portion of salmon rather than two, cut back on the spuds and didn't slather it all in butter then she could ditch the expensive C9 AND have 3 meals a day (rather than substituting 2 of them for crappy shakes).

Twentytwentyhindsight · 04/07/2020 23:16

Wig has just reposted a nostalgic 'where it all began' post with photos of herself and Bloodsucker, including a Castle name drop.

Just in case people thought there was some sort of fundamental difference between 'product-based MLMs' and Ponzi schemes, one of the most egregious scammers of the lot demonstrates that there is none.

BSintolerant · 05/07/2020 00:59

@CompleteBarstool good grief! That’s a dose for a mad dog isn’t it? I can’t believe Yawn would be that greedy. Perhaps it was a sharing platter for her botnap victims in the cellar? 😂

ToBotOrNotToBot · 05/07/2020 10:13

You can get plant based butter, which she probably already has, as she's been eating a plant based diet for 9 months

CodenameVillanelle · 05/07/2020 10:22

Yes you can, but it doesn't taste nice and it doesn't melt the same way butter does... I'm just saying, not trying to get into a debate about butter/dairy free spread but she's a hypocrite and not plant based or vegan in the slightest. She jumped on plant based to fit with her 'health' aspect of the crappy c9 meal replacement junk she peddles whilst I have no doubt chugging MacDonald's and steaks off camera.
SnoogyWoo · 05/07/2020 11:13

Nothing wrong with good quality butter, if she ate more of that and less of the crap shakes she would lose weight and be healthier.

fitgirl26 · 05/07/2020 11:27

I see that Wig's spelling was just as awful back in the day. Nothing says professional business woman quite like someone who spells it as buisiness. And Sleaze is still boasting about his day in the pub hugging people because there's no actual pandemic 🙄

ToBotOrNotToBot · 05/07/2020 11:41

I won't comment on whether she's a vegan, veggie or anything else. That's her choice, but to try and use her dietary choices to sell C9's is wrong. The C9 just messes up your metabolism. Any qualified health expert will tell you that. The number of calories is just too low.

These products are so damaging long term. The only proven way to manage your weight is a healthy lifestyle. Eat the right amount of calories and your body and exercise regularly. It's not rocket science.

I know for a fact that most people who do a C9, don't keep up with healthy eating or exercise. They do them 3-4 times a year, just to sell them, and almost always pile the weight back on, plus more.

The only bots you see doing these, who remain slim, are the ones who have a healthy lifestyle. If all of these bots stopped doing C9's, the majority of them wouldn't gain weight. They would simply stay the same.

I sometimes wonder if they subconsciously pile on the pounds on purpose, just so that they can show a good bloated 'before photo'. The after photos then are bound to look good, because all that stomach bloat disappears. It is just water mainly though. Maybe 1-2lbs of fat, but that is inevitable for the teeny amount of calories consumed in 9 days.

I remember several of the bots were used as guinea pigs for the new FIT programme. I think it was a 2 month programme done with a dietitian and a PT. I will say the results were impressive, BUT, this was done with a strict diet and exercise programme. It would have been achieved exactly the same without the FLP products.

It beggars belief that bots are still allowed to peddle these programmes. The government has an obesity crisis and these kinds of products give people false hope that their obesity can be cured by drinking a bit of gloop and taking a few pills for 9 days.

Spongebobette · 05/07/2020 18:12

Yes absolutely
MLMs are notorious for offering a magical solution / quick fix

Underhiseye2 · 05/07/2020 22:23

Does anyone else follow this bot whose first name rhymes with batasha. She is FL and in the past has travelled a lot, seems good at the insta photos, has a nice white Mercedes that she bought cash from her fl peddles. Is now renovating a van to live in /travel in with her husband. She sells a good life, always smiling and holidaying and now will be travelling the world in her van. Her husband has just given up his job too so they are also going down the "couple" route. How many new recruits would you need a week to be able to give up both jobs?

Bluewavescrashing · 05/07/2020 22:29

@Underhiseye2 has this bot now left FL or is she still botting?

Underhiseye2 · 05/07/2020 23:00

She is still botting. I don't think she has a nickname yet (but then there's a couple I don't know so maybe she does). From Wales. Bridal profile pic

BSintolerant · 05/07/2020 23:12

Could you give us a clue as to her last name?

9dartfinish2nd · 05/07/2020 23:19

Anyone quitting a job to do MLM full time in this current climate has clearly lost the plot.

BSintolerant · 05/07/2020 23:24

Aren’t they just? I suspect a lot of these announcements are BS though.

Perhaps the aforementioned couple who are renovating a van to go travelling are doing so because they need to sell or rent their house. Desperate times.

ticktock19 · 06/07/2020 00:29

Found her on welsh bots friends list - if you search for her first name on Welsh's friends list then she's either the last one or very near the end. Surname begins with a W. Hope I've got her right but she is converting a van so hopefully it's her

BSintolerant · 06/07/2020 00:39

Thank you. Mmm interesting.

Norma27 · 06/07/2020 06:28

She wasn't on my radar before.
What is her digital business? Is it forex? Sounds scammy anyway!

Underhiseye2 · 06/07/2020 07:25

Surname rhymes with hair.

A little scroll back tells us that she's been trying to sell the white merc for a while now because "I don't need it anymore".

And that they had the van 18 months ago at least. So maybe they have been saving up in order to convert it.

She seems to have finished uni, gone travelling, then straight into FL when she got back and all the interactions with her pre FL stopped dead. And its been rallys and c9's since. They had a van that they rented out a couple of years ago with its own facebook page but thats disappeared now so maybe this "new" van is the replacement.

So.clever how they paint success but if you scratch just the smallest bit below the surface, it is all BS

They don't appear to have ever bought a house together so this one they have just snapped.up and put the world's cheapest bathroom in, appears to be their only home that they will soon be renting out so they can live in a van

BSintolerant · 06/07/2020 07:46

So clever how they paint success but if you scratch just the smallest bit below the surface, it is all BS

Exactly. Who else smells a rat when Vanbot describes how her husband given up his job to travel in a van?

PROUD OF MY HUSBAND WHO IS OFFICIALLY A JOB QUITTER TOO!!! 🚀🚀🚀

His notice has been handed and as of August he will officially be free! 🙊💃

He has held a fantastic position as a manager on a very generous salary, however working 40 hours a week for the rest of his life doesn’t make his heart sing. He wants to be free with me to do the things that he loves and is passionate about.

Does that mean he’s been made redundant? Grin

I suspect the digital business she refers to is Forever Living. She’s giving digital nomads a bad name with that. The first two letters in the website are Vanbot’s initials before she got married. Getting people to sign up to a website to find out more and to watch a training business is yet another a trap for the unwary.

Smoke and mirrors. You can see why people fall for MLMs / Direct Sales.

BSintolerant · 06/07/2020 07:51

Watch a training business? I mean training video! Pig tit fingers again...!

BSintolerant · 06/07/2020 08:01

Ah, it looks like they’ve created an app to link all their social media accounts - is that what you were referring to @Norma27?

Norma27 · 06/07/2020 08:26

@Bsintolerant I don't even know what I mean! She has a digital business alongside forever shite.
It runs itself, no sales but needs more money to set up than MLM. I just can't understand what it is.
Sort of sounds similar to when someone tried the rope me into Forex. Even tho I am so anti-mlm I almost fell for it as I trusted the business sense of the person trying to sell it to me.
All cloak and daggers. I was watching a live with her, 2 other women and a couple. No mention at all of what the opportunity is. I was so bored watching them I did keep fast forwarding through it all though!

BSintolerant · 06/07/2020 08:41

Some of her posts are deliberately misleading, but that’s MLM all over! Whatever it is sounds sinister.

Forex is dreadful. I seem to recall a documentary about women who’d been sucked into that and lost a lot of money; some of them had even lost their entire savings. Their recruiters were very convincing, appeared to be knowledgeable and plausible but the whole thing was as risky as gambling. Whenever they lost money they’d be encouraged to invest more and were reassured that they were doing the right thing because that’s how the system worked. The whole thing resembled suped-up gambling to me.

Norma27 · 06/07/2020 09:02

Forex is awful. Luckily I did some research, and in this particular one once I realised they built teams I knew it was a pyramid.
Many years ago, the family of my then boyfriend were angry I wouldn't invest in 'women empowering women'. I knew nothing then of pyramid schemes but knew it was obviously wrong.
