She went on about them invading the town, putting locals at risk etc. ....yet next week she's off on holiday to France
I think they spend so long creating a fiction of their lives that nothing is authentic, including their opinions (they say whatever they need to say to get attention and keep downlines’ attention). The thing about telling porkies all the time is that it’s bloody hard to get your story right or consistent. Coupled with a lack of critical thinking or rational self assessment (which we know are usually missing from MLM sign ups (or manipulated at the point of entry into MLM), and certainly missing from the long termers. I think a lot of bots are so focussed on their audience of toadies, lapping up their every word, that they start to believe their own hype and special value. Perhaps they have a whole hinterland of thoughtful, principled and well-led life that we never see but I find it hard to believe having watched them over time. The other element of their real lives we don’t see, as @fromdownwest mentions, is how they are perceived in their community. The Yawns of this world in my neck of the woods have terrible reputations having made a real nuisance of themselves at the school gates etc and also having damaged people along the way.
