Looked at the MLM Facebook page recently and noticed they’re looking into garage qualifying. Interesting reading! One post mentions a FL bot who claimed to be an FBO but accidentally showed their payslip from their actual salaried JOB (was from before the Radio 4 interview). Anyone know who this was?

That was a reference to Castle’s brother who seems to be employed by Forever Living. Possibly as a graphic artist

Ooer! Which FB MLM page was this on @Maranello4 ? HobNob could be a shill who is paid a regular salary by Forever Living to pose with products on Instagram. Yet he claims to be making money solely by working as an Independent Business Owner. How very disingenuous.

goldenkelpie I think that was the show. My friend had chance to say beforehand which room would be done and I think she could say what sort of thing she would like/definitely not like but they took no notice.

For the "reveal" she tried to act as if she loved it but you could tell she didn't.
It was her living room so I saw it in real life many a time...it was such a poor quality finish. They used really bold colours too!

Thank you, @CompleteBarstool. I thought they decorated more than one room (3?) but it is years since I saw the programme. The newly made-up rooms always look nice on the programme but, like the other 90's decorating show, Changing Rooms, I couldn't put myself through the stress of having people running round my home, changing things, and have it televised .

@GoldenKelpie .... maybe it wasn't 60 Minute Makeover? It definitely wasn't Changing Rooms as it was a daytime low-budget show. What other ones were around in the 90s?

@CompleteBarstool I just googled "90's decorating tv programmes" but none were anything like your friend's experience. Changing Rooms was mentioned, running from 96-04. 60 min Makeover didn't start until 04.

To get us back onto MLM subject . I wonder whether there are any decorating-related MLM companies? Yawn might know...

If there were any I'm sure she would have joined and gone "from basement to penthouse" already, leaving a trail of paint, tile transfers, glitzy knobs and tat behind her.

Uber's Insta story shows an event last night where 47 bots learned about the face care and masks ....lots (maybe all?) can be seen using the masks.

IIRC the masks were about £10 each.
47 x £10 is a lot of sales.

Talking of masks on a local FB selling page someone has asked where they can buy face masks locally as they’ve got to go into hospital and a Body at Home Hun has popped up and said she’s got loads for dry or oily skin. She’s being teased unmercifully poor woman.

Broke living the dream again, tells his followers to watch a film with a lot of sex in it and in the comments he admits to "doing something else" before he got to the end.

Also, really want to correct his grammar in the corporate slide he's made for himself!!!

Another day, another opportunity for Yawn to prey on vulnerable people who have had no clarity from today’s announcements. Sigh.

Yawn's new assistant manager was begging yesterday for people to help her get her last 3.5 points to make the promotion.

Imagine if all business were done like that, begging your friends and family to essentially contribute to your pay at the end of the month.

Is she going to do the same for her next "promotion" too so as not to lose face when Yawn puts the pressure on via social media posts?

If there are any bots who are still entangled in their MLM and reading this thread, please come here and tell us why this is acceptable. Or, at least take a good hard look at yourself to see how you are justifying this exploitative action against people who love you.

It is so crass it is unreal, however, she is 2 /3 months qualifying for a£28k bonus. I hope that this is untrue, anyone know about the JP comp plan.

I completely agree that it must distort things. I think there’s definitely a piece of academic research into the psychological impact upon the children of influencers (and I would broadly include the likes of Castle in this) that are paraded on social media for all to see. It cannot be healthy in so many ways: the knowledge that so much of your early life is document permanently on the internet for all to see; the simple act of being filmed must have an impact on day to day interaction between parent and child; the feeling of being constantly on show; and being used as a part of your parent’s business and the associated pressures.

I also think that in years to come there will be some sort of incident like a burglary or abduction by who has gleaned information from these people that live their lives so openly on social media which will force people to reconsider.
