Yeah I've done bits here and there on UHRS and when I'm certain that I'm doing them right, I get booted off.

UHRS depends on the task- you can definitely make £10 an hour on there on the 0.10 tasks.

But I agree about the ridiculous subjectivity of it.

I went on the waiting list last May and also did it again in January. I just need to try and not muck it up now!

Me too @MrsWombat ! I applied in May last year and also redid the test in October. I’m a bit worried I’m struggle to find time to the work as I now have a newborn and obviously my older child is off school now.
Does anyone else have little ones and when do you work on it?

Just wondered if anyone has applied for either of the two Sd projects on Appen? I have read the guidelines and it's a 3 - 5 hour qualification process apparently. Wasn't keen to do it unless others have done and been offered work.

@Catatemyhomework I don't know what those projects are but in my experience when it says 3-5 hours it's a major exaggeration. There will probably be a 70 page pdf guideline and 30 question open exam. I've only ever failed one.

@MrsWombat is that with LB? their equivelant of the appen Holy Grail, or did you actually get onto the Appen on?

@Flube and I have been on the LB version for a couple of months now and very little work most days :(

Aye, we are banned from the C word being discussed due to potential revealing of clients, disputes about payment being aired on here rather then with the lovely people that work there, etc.

Not formally banned I should say just better safe than sorry.

I've also been accepted onto the holy grail after also finally passing in September.

I've missed a couple of these threads as lockdown + 2 young children at home + preparing to go back to work after maternity leave hasn't left me with a lot of time, but I've been accepted on to the Social Media work on Lionbridge. Not sure when I'm going to fit it in though! Any tips?

@Boobahs' If it's the hour a day one (on mobile) you can do it while doing other stuff, use the microphone button on your phone keypad to make it even easier....

I do know from missing out on this thread being consumed by jealousy that every wave of recruitment they've had during the last year it's taken about ten days for me to stop checking spam and sobbing for them to email everyone.

At last ive heard from the potatoey people. Only 11 months!!!! Wait

Signed docs and apparently a test i think. Will have a proper read when i get in.

Anyone any advice on the test or other getting started bits please please please PM me. Any hints tips etc greatly appreciated.
