Well ... it's been one hell of a month hasn't it? I hope everyone is safe and well (and not going too mad with kids and partners at home!). As always, referral links and new starters are welcome, think we're all going to need a boost financially over the next few months.

@rhij86 I found 2 new jobs to apply for, they're near the bottom of the list :)

Catatemyhomework · 06/04/2020 14:11

@lilmishap, do you mean the two Sd projects?
I have just registered an interest and hoping they get back to me with next steps. Think there is a test.

527040minutes · 06/04/2020 14:12

Thanks @lilmishap, I forget to check for new jobs! Hoping there might be more chance of getting onto things by applying early in the cycle! My only one atm is B* and there's no work on there atm

Buster27 · 06/04/2020 14:17

No new jobs for me :(

Wolfff · 06/04/2020 14:31

I've registered for the two S tests but I am currently unable to work M*lta projects because I've lost my SRT login and despite raising tickets they never respond.

Wheelyyyy · 06/04/2020 15:34

Thanks @lilmishap. Registered 🤞

Catatemyhomework · 06/04/2020 15:36

What is an SRT login @Wolfff? If I get accepted on to a Ma project will I be issued with one as haven't worked on a Ma project before.

lilmishap · 06/04/2020 15:50

Sorry they'd already been mentioned by @Catatemyhomework but yes the Two Sf* ones.

@toastytea I did the test a LOT, after getting the right score I had another couple of goes to see if I could improve it - I did worse 3 or 4 times.....

Wolfff · 06/04/2020 15:53

@Catatemyhomework
it's their work platform for those tasks they issue it when you have passed the tests etc and are ready to work.

Catatemyhomework · 06/04/2020 16:03

Thanks @Wolfff. Fingers crossed we hear back soon. Hope you get your SRT sorted soon.

Catatemyhomework · 06/04/2020 16:04

Sorry, don't know why that posted twice.

Fedupandpoor · 06/04/2020 16:18

I heard back from Crisp! 🍾

I hope it works out as I really need it. Just wanted to ask a few questions, would I be self employed or PAYE? How do they pay? Is it a reliable, full-time job or just a bit extra on the side?

Any tips for passing the assessment also gratefully recieved! Grin

Fedupandpoor · 06/04/2020 16:20

Oh shit, I just read we can't say the C word! Blush

Wolfff · 06/04/2020 16:21

Don’t worry about the assessment you get training first. The test is fair.
It’s self employed and it’s just a bit extra on the side - depending on how much you do. Personally I earn a lot more on Appen.

Fedupandpoor · 06/04/2020 16:29

@wolfff Thank you for the reply! I've been on Appen a while but have never been offered anything except that survey you get once every 3 months Sad

AdaShelby · 06/04/2020 16:30

You can say the C word.

The issue is when people start to say too much which is what they understandably don't like.

I earn a lot more with Appen these days. That's the Holy Grail to me.

Good luck for April everyone.

Fedupandpoor · 06/04/2020 16:36

Any advice on what Appen projects to go for?

girlicorne · 06/04/2020 16:55

I m really pleased at least two of you have said more about earning more on Appen I thought I was just slow and rubbish 😀

girlicorne · 06/04/2020 16:59

@Fedupandpoor apply for every single one on Appen that you can, I ve been on there since June, the work fluctuates a lot, I waited until September and got an hour a day project then November December I was getting about 40/50 hours a week, January and February very quiet I only had an hour a day on a particular project, since mid March I ve been doing 40 hours a week. I have never had all my active processes come up at once and if they do you don’t have to take the project. But apply for them all just in case, some are one offs, some you might get a few hours then a break then a few more hours, some you might get weeks of 20 hours and above so I d say just register an interest in all of them!!

Boobahs · 06/04/2020 17:04

@lilmishap Thanks, I'm going to have a proper look once the boys are in bed Smile

Fedupandpoor · 06/04/2020 17:20

@girlicorne Thank you 🙂 Its the fact that you never know how much work you will get that's putting me off! I would rather have 500 a month for sure than some months with nothing at all. Although, I've never been on Crisp before so no idea if it's any more reliable.

girlicorne · 06/04/2020 17:53

@Fedupandpoor yes it is definitely more reliable you can jump on and work whenever you like for as long as you like so it is better for planning a regular income.

I agree, just apply for everything on Appen. I was the one last year with 38 active processes going on, out of which 4 have finally come through.
I got the C test link through today as well.
