Well ... it's been one hell of a month hasn't it? I hope everyone is safe and well (and not going too mad with kids and partners at home!). As always, referral links and new starters are welcome, think we're all going to need a boost financially over the next few months.

@Fedupandpoor they pay by either bank transfer or PayPal once a month. Around the middle of the month and it's quicker if you use PayPal but you pay a fee.
I earn decent money with them, at least £10 an hour.
I know lots of people here don't end up with it working for them but it's a total godsend for me.

justtheonethen · 08/04/2020 20:15

Wish the B@ne tasks would come properly now, not these stupid small sets that aren't worth logging in for!

Catatemyhomework · 08/04/2020 20:17

@527040minutes, hopefully we'll have better luck next time! Smile

unicornpoopoop · 08/04/2020 20:24

Sorry if this has already been covered but I'm currently waiting to appen to approve my documents but I've also got through to the assessment on lionbridge.

In the lionbridge application it asked me if I worked for any other similar companies and I said no because I don't... but it's made me think, am I allowed to work for both at the same time? Or is This against the rules?

Wheelyyyy · 08/04/2020 20:26

Email release b*

Suebnm · 08/04/2020 20:40

@unicornpoopoop

You aren't supposed to work for both and it is against the rules.

unicornpoopoop · 08/04/2020 21:19

Thanks. Even if on different type of tasks? I've seen conflicting information online

lilmishap · 08/04/2020 21:50

@unicornpoopoop they don't want you working on the same client's projects.

DeegeeDee · 09/04/2020 12:48

Hi all, advice please. Been sent an emailby CW inviting me to take the UHRS assessment - any tips? Checking my profile in CW, it says my PayPal account is not verified and I am going round in circles trying to figure it out. Have had the account for decades now and is linked to my bank account. #Tiredandstumped

Fedupandpoor · 09/04/2020 12:57

@justtheonethen Thank you! Is work always available? Could I treat it as a full time job?

I read that after 6 months or so they hire you as a shift worker rather than pay per piece, is that true?

Sorry for all the questions! Grin

justtheonethen · 09/04/2020 13:24

@Fedupandpoor pm me Smile

StudentHelp · 09/04/2020 14:08

Anyone had an email about downloading something onto phones in order to listen to what you’re watching on the Tv?

From Take Part in Research. I don’t know whether to trust it?

lilmishap · 09/04/2020 15:15

@DeegeeDee Link and confirm a bank account or card to the account, they send you a deposit and you tell them how much it is.....

DeegeeDee · 09/04/2020 15:54

Thanks @lilmishap - all done and have passed the assessments.

527040minutes · 09/04/2020 16:35

Email from clickworker says that UHRS should be under assessments, but it isn't. Anyone any tips? Does it just appear at some point or should it be there? I've only had an English language and writing assessment available so far.

Suebnm · 09/04/2020 16:43

If you're invited to UHRS, the test appears under assessments. If you haven't had an invite it isn't there.

527040minutes · 09/04/2020 18:23

Ah thank you! That's completely different to the info they gave in an email this afternoon!

Leavesofautumn · 09/04/2020 19:05

I did the basic first stage of the application for Appen so I've got access to the page with the list of tasks available, although I haven't tried to qualify for anything yet. Sorry but it feels so weird! There's something really uncomfortable about the whole thing. Does nobody else feel this? Just WTF?

I also failed the test to become a transcriptionist for Way With Words, even though I have experience and actually thought I'd done well.

But at least I did my first survey with Prolific so I've got £2 in my account.

lilmishap · 09/04/2020 19:12

Keep checking prolific it's spitting out money the last week or two, surveys are uploaded frequently through the day

Leavesofautumn · 09/04/2020 19:25

Fine, but why is nobody else here creeped out by it?

girlicorne · 09/04/2020 19:27

@Leavesofautumn I don’t understand what anyone could find creepy about Appen?

justtheonethen · 09/04/2020 19:29

@Leavesofautumn what do you find creepy?

527040minutes · 09/04/2020 19:34

@Leavesofautumn it makes me feel uncomfortable, like I'm doing something I shouldn't be almost? Like an unease. But I suffer from anxiety generally and get this often with all sorts of weird things!

Catatemyhomework · 09/04/2020 19:39

I don't find it creepy. I see it as an opportunity to earn a few extra quid and help other businesses achive their objectives. I'm sure there are far creepier sites out there!

Fedupandpoor · 09/04/2020 20:27

It you think that's creepy try cloudworkers. Endless dick pics...
