I've managed to pick up an additional couple of locum clerking roles locally to me, one was just for the meetings and the other is basically as many hours as I can spare. Because it is locuming, and I invoice for my hours, I can choose my own hourly rate! Which is nice! So £10 a day, complete for the foreseeable future !!

Oh yeah I was accepted to m**w on Appen, my first ever appen project. I started doing the test work yesterday and fell asleep! Have not been on my laptop since and probably won't get back on until tomorrow or Saturday. Does anyone know if I'll have ruined the whole thing now? I woke up, closed my laptop lid and went back to sleep so I'd left it with the test stuff in progress. I just started a new job and I'm shattered atm and couldn't face looking at it again today to find out what happened.

Hehe @Madre77 @Suebnm Happy Valentines Day! There was a much more tedious Appen voice project going on when I started Tr**e last year and someone suggested using voice-to-text for that and a lightbulb went on in my head for using it for other things.

I'm got approx £18.11 approved and coming from utest coming on Monday for three test cases. I'm definitely persevering with it. A fiver for 15 mins work isn't too shabby.

Just applied to work at the polling station for local elections in May, I think the money is supposed to be quite good! Search on your local council website.

I've been doing Clerking for a while and only just started picking up locum work, but with a wedding to pay for very soon, it all helps!

What's the deal with Appen when it comes to applying for projects? I'm on a long term project with them T** and I'm really grateful for that but I've got something like 20 active processes. Is it first come, first served?

I've been accepted on 2 angel fish market research one offs and both times they say they'll call me but nothing and I've missed one start date so far. Do they not call everyone?

You can only do one market research every 6 months, if they see you doing more than that they will blacklist you.

Not sure if that's why, but something to be aware of.

Voice to text is a life saver on Appen for me.
