Hello all!
Been awol with flu, bronchitis and real life jobs but got paid today for my first full Appen month, so very pleased.

Have now got invites to "work this" on another two, but not sure I'll have time. Like bloomin' buses.

Oddly, I had 38 active processes which overnight went down to 22 so I guess the waiting list petered out and so I got bumped off.

Catatemyhomework · 14/02/2020 13:04

@AriellaBella, I paid in £10 initially to get the £10 bonus. I now have another offer which is to pay in another £20 and buy £30 worth of shares and I will receive £30 bonus. I originally thought I would get £30 bonus straight away, but they said I would receive it when I buy £30 in shares. So I have just bought shares in randon players. I will enjoy watching how they get on. Hopefully they will rise in value! In the worse case scenario I get my £30 back from them and I can sell my shares so I should make something. I'll let you know how I get on.

AriellaBella · 14/02/2020 13:05

@catatemyhomework thanks, let me know how you go! My family and I are already involved with the football fantasy league so this can just increase my new found football obsession!

BlackCatFan · 14/02/2020 13:07

Statements are in 💰

Catatemyhomework · 14/02/2020 13:09

@AriellaBella, yes, I've got really into it since I started MB. I can see how it could become addictive! Grin

otterses · 14/02/2020 14:27

I was casting my mind back to last year when I sold some 'nurse' shoes for £50 on eBay ...

Do you reckon people on Fivver would pay me for photos of me vulgar feet?

OP posts:
seizethecuttlefish · 14/02/2020 14:28

Anyone working on Appen Meadow who could give me some help? I'm doing the practice and it's killing me.

otterses · 14/02/2020 14:35

I think we're all missing a trick.

PEOPLE ARE PAYING £8.05 TO HAVE SOMEONE DESCRIBE THEIR SPIRIT ANIMAL.

OP posts:
nothingchangesonnewyearsday · 14/02/2020 14:35

Anyone get their invoice paid yet?

MoreMoneyPlease · 14/02/2020 15:03

@otterses I could do that! Where do I sign up??

nothingchangesonnewyearsday · 14/02/2020 15:09

Anyone?

BertieBotts · 14/02/2020 15:10

:o That sounds like the kind of thing my mum does Blush

tinyradish · 14/02/2020 15:15

Ha, feet pics & spirit animals. I really did consider selling my breastmilk...did you know epioel pay well for it? Grin

Can't be bothered pumping though.

AriellaBella · 14/02/2020 15:23

Are any of you on Toluna? It's a survey site where you earn points for answering surveys. I've been doing it about 4 months and earned about £15 so not a massive earner but there are usually surveys available so it's easy to do them on a commute etc.

If you want to use my referral code it's:

uk.toluna.com/referral/Roxette1234

MoreMoneyPlease · 14/02/2020 15:29

@otterses my friend tried selling some 'dirty, dirty' high heeled shoes on eBay, complete with photos of her wearing them. She was shut down pretty quickly! Worn tights are her next idea...

Wolfff · 14/02/2020 15:46

There are a couple of eBay like sites where you can sell used pants. I did think about it when slinging a couple of worn out pairs yesterday Wink

Madre77 · 14/02/2020 15:46

Has anyone looked into being a mumsnet moderator?

Madre77 · 14/02/2020 15:53

Seriously we need to look into the niche areas that will make some £££.
I did the sexy calls for a month (please dont judge) but I hated the talking aspect of it after a hard day oh and I was super paranoid as I live in a terrace house. So cloudworkers is a suitable aternative but I will invest in nail polish and a pedicure if I have sound sites (joking -not joking- )

otterses · 14/02/2020 16:09

@Madre77

There's never any judgement here! @TheLolaMontez I think still does cloud workers, she might be able to give you a bit more insight into it.

But please, never do anything that makes you uncomfortable.

@MoreMoneyPlease it's on Fivver! I'm seriously contemplating bizarre and amusing services I could offer ... Maybe 'I'll describe the ghost in your home for £5' Grin

OP posts:
Madre77 · 14/02/2020 16:14

Thank you so much @otterses. It is ok I currently DO cloudworkers and am super comfortable with it now I can type away in silence. I am going to look at fivver :-)

otterses · 14/02/2020 16:19

@Madre77 I would! There's a decent market on there for getting paid to comment on people's Instagram posts, scream into bushes, cast spells...

I'm enjoying my browsing Grin

OP posts:
Lougle · 14/02/2020 16:23

@seizethecuttlefish if you're "doing" the practice, you need to go back and read the email again. There is nothing to 'do' except listen, look and click save.

Catatemyhomework · 14/02/2020 16:25

If anyone's interested in signing up to Chip. I have a referral code here:
2DSB7PHF
Download the app and sign up using this code you will get £10 bonus.
I think Chip is great as I have saved £120 so far this year and haven't noticed at all. It basically uses algorithms to track your spending and rounds of the pennies and saves them periodically. I am using it for Christmas as it always catches me out every year. I am hoping to get at least £1000.
Just realised I posted on the old thread, so put it here.

Boobahs · 14/02/2020 16:26

I got accepted for one of the M**w projects on Appen but every time I click "work this" I get a blank screen on my iPhone and an 404 error screen on my laptop. How are people working them?! Sad

TheLolaMontez · 14/02/2020 16:27

What is fivver? Sounds great Grin
