@GachaBread

I'm not fully connected, I was before I decided to use my first direct card instead and I get some annoying message about codes not matching. It's being looked into Envy

Catatemyhomework · 14/02/2020 18:21

@GachaBread, I've just had a look on there FAQs. Here's the link to your query:

www.getchip.uk/faq

I have the same situation as I am with HSBC and they are also one of the banks listed as being not fully connected. It's fine though, as it does what I want it to do and save me money! I hadn't realised I wasn't fully connected tbh. I have saved £120 so far, so cracking on with my Christmas fund which is essntial with teenage DC! Grin

spacepoppers · 14/02/2020 19:19

Thank you @GachaBread, I logged in and did it ASAP! Have done a couple of Roamler ones this week too, they were pretty straightforward to be honest, so happy days Smile

GachaBread · 14/02/2020 19:31

@otterses okay seems not just me with the problem @Catatemyhomework thanks for the code too, will get this sorted come Monday as want to get the full benefits from it and can easily see me hitting my targets/goals in this way.
Thanks guys

@spacepoppers I think you have the mystery shopping bug. It's a nice feeling getting paid.
I used to think it was all a load of bull when I used to hear about mystery this and mystery that. You go girl ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

anxiouswaiting · 14/02/2020 19:37

Tefiti2 · 14/02/2020 20:04

@otterses I tried the grapevine link but it doesn’t go to a valid page! Have set up my own account but can’t find anything about the survey

LAST ATTEMPT too many stupid links in the email. Does that work @Tefiti2 ?

OP posts:
otterses · 14/02/2020 20:46

And I've decided what service to offer on Fivver Grin it's something I'd be basically doing anyway, I'm going to sell a 4 week budget meal plan with recipes and a shopping list. Maybe eco friendly too/seasonal produce etc.

Any more thoughts @TheLolaMontez ?

OP posts:
TheLolaMontez · 14/02/2020 20:50

None so far @otterses but I've kind of switched off for the night Grin I'll have a think!

My MasterCard only took 2 days to be delivered.

spacepoppers · 14/02/2020 21:06

Haha, I think you may be right @GachaBread, my children think I've lost the plot! But honestly, I get a bit of a buzz from it...I suffer from a little from anxiety, so every time I complete a 'mission' I feel I've accomplished something, however tiny it may be in the big scheme of things. But yes, being paid for it too is nice :)

Tefiti2 · 14/02/2020 21:40

That’s brilliant, thanks very much @otterses! Love the idea of the budget meal plans - it is such a monotonous task that I would happily outsource

Lougle · 14/02/2020 21:46

@anxiouswaiting I had issues with slow loading earlier on UTest.

@Catatemyhomework I was feeling really low earlier, but then I got a small bonus for something I did on a cycle, which made me want to cry with gratitude Confused

Catatemyhomework · 14/02/2020 22:03

@Lougle, glad you got some recognition for your efforts. I'm up and down with UTest. I got 2 approved today that I was happy with and 1 rejected. I have declined a couple of cycles over the last few days as I don't feel competent to do them. I just wish the other project we were working on would start back up again. That seemed more straight forward to me. Some of the stuff seems really complicated and I think it's beyond me so I don't try as I can't be bothered to put the effort in to something that might not come to fruition.

Lougle · 14/02/2020 22:09

I turned down one today that I have done before and I just couldn't be doing with the technicalities of it. I'm a bit over committed as it is.

MoreMoneyPlease · 14/02/2020 22:10

This Fiverr thing is unbelievable. Someone is charging £4.05 to send you 'Continuous Distant Reiki' and at least 565 people have signed up! Right, I'm going to spend all weekend trying to come up with some random idea I can flog.

GachaBread · 14/02/2020 22:30

@spacepoppers the first ever job I did that got approved brought tears to my eyes. I was so scared in the store and was so paranoid that everyone was looking at me, the job was so hard too but I pulled it off and it just took off from their.
I totally get you on the anxiety as I suffer with that but it makes me more determined to get the job done. Their are a lot of us about us mystery shoppers hun, wait till you get a Roamler newsletter showing you the top 10 for the month, you will see how many points they have earned in a month and you will realise that people are not messing around with this. The money the top earners are earning is phenomenal.

Catatemyhomework · 14/02/2020 22:50

I might start mystery shopping. I was in Boots the other day getting a lipstick for dd1 and I didn't know which one she wanted so I had to photograph them and send them to her. The woman asked me on the makeup counter if she could help and I said I'm just sending a pic to dd to check it's the right one. She was fine. I could just say that's what I'm doing! Grin

GachaBread · 14/02/2020 22:59

@Catatemyhomework you would be quite surprised at how many people snap items in shops but are not mystery shopping. Go for it and see how you go, what have you got to lose?
