I'm so happy to see the thread has been ticking along with so many new people joining us

It's been a shitty couple of weeks for me. I started out the new year with an awful sore throat, and it turns out I have glandular fever, so I've been too exhausted for any serious money making.

I'm actually really enjoying Chip! It's proving to be a great way to stash all the little bits of money from profilic etc. so I can see it actually adding up to something.

This morning I've switched bank accounts (£100 for joining, then £100 if I leave unhappy in six months) and managed to reduce my life insurance policy by £9 a month, and get £85 cashback for doing so via Quidco, so I'm trying to be productive.

@ifuckarses have you been added to the tool for the lionbridge job? I passed the test A few days Ago but havent heard anymore yet

I dunno justtheonethen, I’m on Crisp and I’m finding it harder and harder to get shifts in advance when they’re released on Fridays. PPI is also harder as there just isn’t enough of it. You can earn that on Crisp if you do shifts, but I think it’s misleading to say it’s easy.

@fanniee I've never seen anything harrowing.. what sort of things have you seen? I do sometimes feel nervous that I might see something dodgy one day...

Do you do shifts blackcatfan? I’ve seen some horrible stuff on shifts but in PPI as well.

@0utForAWalkBitch I don't do shifts, I haven't been offered them so far :( not sure I'd like to see dodgy stuff .... I mean, I've seen plenty of porn but nothing scary

Upsetting rather than scary. The company do a great job of keeping the web safe.

... but I do sometimes wonder about 'aftercare', if someone did ever see something really horrible.. I'd probably want someone to vent about it with, but I don't think there's an option for this.

@fanniee oh no I work more than that I just meant it's a viable work from home option.

Also not seen anything harrowing in shifts or ppi.

Also if you did 2 full time days on crisp you could make £160 a week easily I think which is around £700 a month.

I really dont think its right to tell people earning £800 a month on crisp is easy. The scrum for shift work if you're lucky enough to get that is worse and ppi is quiet.
It is POSSIBLE but it is not easy by any stretch, even for those doing it a while.
I also think you would be lucky to be working a while and not see anything distressing.
Just piping up as I think those new to crisp shouldn't be led to believe its raining gold and opportunities

@morekidsthanhands 🤷🏼‍♀️ I find it easy. I do one full day and about 12 hours dotted around on top throughout the week. Piece of piss in my mind. I get enough shifts easily and manage to pick more up throughout the week.

Been doing it since April and nothing that's disturbed me.

@morekidsthanhands I don't have too much trouble grabbing shifts, it's quite easy to guess when shifts will be released and just have to refresh the page. I don't do content in Mod as much as I should, but I still managed to clear just shy of 2k last month 👍🏻

I'm not trying to be a debbie downer. But what is your secret? Because even the experienced staff are struggling at the minute.

@Catatemyhomework Mistakes are going to happen. I know I've missed something in Coral's T&Cs somewhere as they're not letting me withdraw my winnings, and I haven't figured out why yet. My bad.

I don't really know if banks see a bookies on soft searches over time as a problem, as long as you're in good credit. I'd guess, they're looking for risk. So that'd be if someone looked like they had a gambling / addiction problem. Or relied on "betting" as a sole source of income to pay bills / the mortgage as it's not regular or predictable. They'd probably ask questions if winnings were factored into an application, or if it looked like the main income source/s were affected by (match) betting at all. Anyhoo, I'm just guessing x

@morekidsthanhands I don't have a secret. I'm not easily offended, and haven't seen anything more than a couple of dick pics. Shift release is better now they've capped it - I normally manage to book around 15 when released, but can easily pick up at least 15 more through the week! I'd do more if i didn't have the school run, blasted kids 😂

I really need to motivate myself with crisp! The best month I had I made about £500 😂 I find it difficult to concentrate so hard for long periods of time. Or maybe I'm just lazy. Next month I'm on it. Just need to stick to a schedule.

Same as @0htooooodles I don't find it hard to book shifts (I can always grab about 15 and always manage to fill my child free day with no bother at shift release) and it's easy to guess when they will be released if I want to pick up extra throughout the week. Shift work is so easy it's ludicrous -apart from the soft drink that shall not be named and I enjoy it more than regular ppi.

Also not seen anything worse than porn, which while grim isn't upsetting. Obviously there is upsetting stuff out there, I'm ok with the idea of seeing disturbing content as it means that no one else will.

Basically crisp is a bloody miracle for me, it's certainly the easiest/least stressful way I've made money to date.

@BlackCatFan I find in mod2/mon that I can do 45 mins at a time then I need a 10 min break. Maybe set a timer and just go for it knowing that a break is not too far away?

There is worse than a few willys is all I'm saying.

I know it is possible to earn a lot but I will stick to the point that it is not easy - particularly if you stick to ppi or dont sit refreshing like a maniac for shifts. And it certainly isnt reliable - people and projects are cut.

Just wouldn't want anyone new stopping reliable work in favour of this.
