I'm so happy to see the thread has been ticking along with so many new people joining us Grin

It's been a shitty couple of weeks for me. I started out the new year with an awful sore throat, and it turns out I have glandular fever, so I've been too exhausted for any serious money making.

I'm actually really enjoying Chip! It's proving to be a great way to stash all the little bits of money from profilic etc. so I can see it actually adding up to something.

This morning I've switched bank accounts (£100 for joining, then £100 if I leave unhappy in six months) and managed to reduce my life insurance policy by £9 a month, and get £85 cashback for doing so via Quidco, so I'm trying to be productive.

Hope everyone is having a good January.

I'm getting increasingly impatient and frustrated.

I failed the lionbridge exam. Well done to those who have passed!

I've 3 'work this' buttons on Appen. Except none work.

One is Forester, which still says it hasn't started yet. However, after reading here that some have had a small amount of work through it, I emailed to let them know my work this button results in error. I have received a reply saying that Forester is full so my application is no longer being processed. 🙇‍♀️

And as stated before, my MB hasn't got off to a good start either.

No work on Neevo, very little on clickworker or prolific.

I have made £3.70 on Utest and am waiting to be paid $40 from isoftstone. So hopefully things will be looking up soon. Just frustrated.

SNISR · 20/01/2020 09:55

@redpanda sorry ive not been on here yesterday. Yes, feel free to send me a message. I'd be happy to help 😊

SimplyBlue · 20/01/2020 09:58

@Flube I'm in a similar position. Are you on Qmee and prolifc? I've made the most from those so far. £29 in total from qmee and £12 from prolific. I'm also waiting for the $40 from isoftstone and have £3.70 from utest the same as you.

I also am signed up to this site called cashbackearners. I have a referral link here:

www.cashbackearners.co.uk/u/53990

You earn little amounts by clicking on emails and banners. You need to earn £20 to cash out. I don't know how good this one is, but I click from time to time when I remember and am up to £8. If anyone else has any experience with this I would be interested in hearing if it pays out? They do have some extras if you click through and then spend money on the sites you click to, but I haven't done that.

anxiouswaiting · 20/01/2020 10:01

Getting really frustrated now, Appen still haven't paid me Angry

Also, does anyone have trouble logging in to isoftstone? Tried with details I had wrotten down when joining and no luck. Then wondered if the new site means joining again so tried that and it says I already have an account. Tried password reset several times and no reset e-mail came!

rhij86 · 20/01/2020 10:10

@anxiouswaiting how frustrating! Have appen given you a reason for the delay in payment??

MrsJackRackham · 20/01/2020 10:34

Oh and you receive a free Ben and Jerry's ice cream on sign up if you use my code which I didn't know 😁🍨 Shopmium referral code i4dy4i

Flube · 20/01/2020 10:35

@ SimplyBlue £29 for Qmee, that's brilliant! I have signed up to Qmee, made 70p I think, then the next 4 or 5 surveys ended half way through as I apparently wasn't suitable to answer, so didn't get paid for them. I haven't done anymore since as wasn't sure it was worth it. But I'm going to have another shot if you've managed £29.

I quite like prolific, but I seem to be on at the wrong time and keep missing studies. Managed £3.30 so far.

I shall have a look at the link posted.

Was the Utest for the windows 10 insider? I'm wondering when, or if, we'll next hear.

Flube · 20/01/2020 10:36

@SimplyBlue My @ didn't work. Try again.

lilmishap · 20/01/2020 10:41

@anxiouswaiting Same boat with appen, there are some very angry people on Reddit as well. I'm done with them, I've emailed a few times had no reply.
I put invoice in on 1st, they returned it because they claimed I had done 0 hours instead of 40 and I sent it back the same day with a screenshot of SRT hours, they took another 7 days to approve it.

lilmishap · 20/01/2020 10:43

I have received a reply saying that Forester is full so my application is no longer being processed
Mine still says it hasn't started yet! What a poo show.
I'm done with Appen, when I get paid I'm closing the account..

lilmishap · 20/01/2020 10:44

Chip card link free Tenner I get a £5

lilmishap · 20/01/2020 10:51

@PeridotPassion
Utest as well.

lilmishap · 20/01/2020 10:57

When withdrawing US dollars from a site, is there any difference between Bank account, Revolut or Paypal in terms of fees?
I've got a tenner to withdraw and it's offering all 3 but doesn't say anything about fees.

lilmishap · 20/01/2020 11:01

@SimplyBlue how long did it take to get that on Qmee? I'm sat bored waiting on Laptop to install updates so I can get on with earning, sorry for spamming!

Catatemyhomework · 20/01/2020 11:07

I have just signed up to Chip. Thanks to whoever mentioned it. Here is my link:

2DSB7PHF

If you sign up using my link, you get £10 and I get £5.

Thanks to whoever posted about free spins with Betfair. I won £7.39 risk free. Have added it to my MB profits which are slowly building up. After my horse has raced at Newcastle this afternoon I should be in around the £70 profit mark and I started last Monday so pretty pleased with that. So far used 4 bookies free bets. It is still quite nerve wracking but I recommend it for quick profit. The hardest part is the signing up process and ensuring you understand the terms and conditions of the free bets.

SimplyBlue · 20/01/2020 11:08

@Flube
Yes it was the BBC insider. Hopefully we hear more soon! And yes do keep going with qmee. I made £10 my first and second week. £9 my third week (last week) and I'm waiting to get £10 before cashing it out.

With prolific I found I got nothing at first, and I couldn't understand how others were doing it. Then I realised that the majority of studies are laptop/pc only and that they go really quickly. I'd had a couple of invitations to some studies so assumed they email when any are available. I've found out that actually they don't. It's just a case of being online and seeing them when they come up. So when I'm at home, I keep my laptop open with prolific on and try to keep an eye out for the studies showing up. If I'm using it and on a different tab, a little (1) shows up in the corner of the tab - easy to miss but now I know to look out for it, I spot it. If you're at home or working in an office most of the time, try and keep the prolific Tab open and make sure you're signed in (it seems to sign me out from time to time if I've not been active on the site) and hopefully you'll have more luck with it.

Ooh another one - intellizoom. I have only made $2 so far but have completed a practice study which is awaiting assessment and will hopefully result in higher paid tasks. It's mobile and pc, seems to be testing the user experience of a website - so for example one of the studies I did I had to look at an airline website and book tickets (but not enter payment details) and explain how easy/hard I found the process. $2 isn't a lot of course, but it was paid into my PayPal unexpectedly which was a nice surprise. I assume they pay after every successful task. Worth signing up to I think.

Trying to think if there's anything else.. I've had no luck with appen as of yet. A lot of "in progress" tasks but no actual work or money. On the waiting list for crisp. I did the test for rev (audio subscription) and still haven't heard back.

Roamler/be my eye are suggested quite a lot here. I have both on my phone. These are like mystery shopping and I'm not completely mobile so these aren't great for me but might be better for you.

Streetbees. I just signed up to this last week. It's kind of like little surveys - but they're called stories and the ones I've done have needed photos uploading - so far I've sent them a picture of my cat, cat food and my skincare products. I should have about £5 from them based on the stories I've submitted, but everything says "pending approval" or something atm. If I do get the money, £5 in a week doesn't seem too bad.

Sorry this is long but I hope some of it helps you Flube.

lilmishap · 20/01/2020 11:11

Onepoll is a weird survey site with 2-3 minute multiple choice surveys for 10-50p I do it some mornings while I'm still waking up, payout £50 but it drops to £25 after the first, I manage about £100 a year on it and that's with forgetting about it for weeks at a time. Surveys are loaded in the morning.

Panelbase is another one, very reliable in terms of not getting screened out. Payout £10. I joined last May and I've withdrawn £90.
Again I frequently forget about it, I'd probably have double that otherwise.

Catatemyhomework · 20/01/2020 11:14

Sorry, my chip code isn't clicky. Try again:

I have received a reply saying that Forester is full so my application is no longer being processed
Mine still says it hasn't started yet! What a poo show.

Same. What actually happened....

Received the email about qualifying for the Scotland Forester. I queried if the email was sent in error or could I actually apply as I'm in England. I was then told that I was already participating in Scotland Forester so there was no issue regarding location.

I refuted that and explained that I had a work this for the England Forester, but I had yet to work it as, 1. It still says it's not started and 2. I receive an error message when I click.

That's when they replied stating that it was full so my application was no longer being processed.

Idk, pretty shoddy if true. Or perhaps I just pissed them off. Hmm

GachaBread · 20/01/2020 11:15

@spacepoppers @MoreMoneyPlease some easy jobs have come up on BeMyEye. They are called Vegan-ary. £5-£5.50

Catatemyhomework · 20/01/2020 11:18

@anxiouswaiting, with the isoftstone login, is it possible you signed up originally with a different email? This happened to me once and I was requesting a password reset and then realised I had signed up with a different email from the one I was trying to request a password reset with.

Thank you @SimplyBlue. That's really helpful to know. I have actually enjoyed the little bits I've done on Prolific.

I am going to persevere with Qmee and look into the other stuff.

Really frustrated with Appen at the minute, and not even done any work for them! Grin

Keeping everything crossed that we do hear from Utest soon. I've had a few emails about test cases, but they turned out to be the same one as what I've already done. I gather some folk had been struggling with insider so they reopened that one. I hope so anyway, wouldn't have wanted to miss anything.

otterses · 20/01/2020 11:33

I'm sorry so many of you are having such a shitty experience with Appen Sad

I'm attempting to enjoy my last day off sick, dragging myself in tomorrow. This week and a half off has really made me realise how little I'm getting out of it these days. Not looking forward to going back. Definitely aiming for a self employed or work from home 2021.
