I'm so happy to see the thread has been ticking along with so many new people joining us

It's been a shitty couple of weeks for me. I started out the new year with an awful sore throat, and it turns out I have glandular fever, so I've been too exhausted for any serious money making.

I'm actually really enjoying Chip! It's proving to be a great way to stash all the little bits of money from profilic etc. so I can see it actually adding up to something.

This morning I've switched bank accounts (£100 for joining, then £100 if I leave unhappy in six months) and managed to reduce my life insurance policy by £9 a month, and get £85 cashback for doing so via Quidco, so I'm trying to be productive.

I’m clearly not paying masses amount of attention or my brain has been fried by an 8 month old. But do you get charged a fee every invoice with PayPal? Is there anyway around it?

I've just passed the Banner test on Appen. It seems rather similar to a test I took and failed a few times for a certain other company(!) So that's three Appen projects I'm waiting upon on to start HURRY UP!!!

If anyone has already qualified for Bane Curation, take a look at your projects page as you might have already been pre-approved for Banner. I probably didn't have to take that test!

Have you all got super new computers? I can't apply to Lionbridge because my computer is more than 3 years old.

@Lougle My laptop is over 5years old, I have updated to windows 10 and have installed the latest version of Google Chrome. I was able to apply for Lionbridge and I'm currently studying for the exam. 🤞

@lougle I’ve just looked and they weren’t bothered about the age of my laptop but wanted my iOS device to be less than 3 years old. So if you have a newer phone you can apply.

On the link that@bemystarlord posted, it asks if your computer is less than 3 years old and if your phone is less than 3 years old. Mine are both over 3 years old.

@Flube, did you have to fill in a questionnaire? Did it not ask about the age of your computer? I won't tick that I have a computer less than 3 years old when I don't.

I failed Banner and I really want to know why!
