I'm so happy to see the thread has been ticking along with so many new people joining us

It's been a shitty couple of weeks for me. I started out the new year with an awful sore throat, and it turns out I have glandular fever, so I've been too exhausted for any serious money making.

I'm actually really enjoying Chip! It's proving to be a great way to stash all the little bits of money from profilic etc. so I can see it actually adding up to something.

This morning I've switched bank accounts (£100 for joining, then £100 if I leave unhappy in six months) and managed to reduce my life insurance policy by £9 a month, and get £85 cashback for doing so via Quidco, so I'm trying to be productive.

Got my Crisp statement but still no Appen payment

First Crisp statement and I'm already confused. I apparently should have a Sage ID buy it's not on the statement.

@seizethecuttlefish I think you ignore that if it's not on there. I haven't ever put one on.

I've just done my first ever Utest thing seeing as Appen is quiet. The 6 weeks voice wotsit. I have no idea what I'm doing but hopefully it was right. Might need to do some of the academy stuff.

@MrsWombat have been doing voice things on Utest for about 6 months and has been much easier/better than the usual testing so i’m sure will be fine.

@MrsWombat, I am doing that too, My voice got accepted today! They haven't given any further directions have they? I couldn't see anything. I guess we just wait for further instructions.

@catatemyhomework that's exciting! I just got the invite so I've joined the Windows insider programme and I'm waiting for the next step.

All Utest have asked me to do so far is install some software.

@Lougle, I joined the Windows insider programme too as I think it was a pre-requisite for the project, although I'm not sure how it will work. It's weird because you have to submit a report like in the test cycles in the academy, with a voice recording of a couple of phrases. I was cringing when I played it back to myself!

As far as I can the UTest british voices project only has 41/500 spaces taken so far so if anyone wants to join up tonight you might get a space.

I haven't had to record a voice yet only download the program and attach proof am I missing something?

@whereareyousleep, that's the initial bit. They then send the voice recording samples instructions and then you send that in and then they approve it. Then I guess the project starts.

Is anyone else having issues with neevo tonight? I keep getting a pop up to download something.

I can't even get on the insider program for the uTest utterance thing. Bit frustrated as I was keen to get going.

I've just signed up for UTest and done some of the academy tests but I can't even find an utterance test

The utterance test is an invitation cycle, @Boobahs. If you do the Academy cycles, you'll get rated, then you're more likely to get a paid invitation.
