I know there have been numerous threads on this topic, but I have struggled to understand how to go about getting started. The more I read about it the more overwhelmed I become. Spreadsheets, separate bank accounts , odds, blah blah . It may as well be quantum mechanics!
I need the money for a specific reason so I need to get to grips with it all and get started. I am an intelligent person, I just need to persevere.
I would really appreciate some very basic advice. I know about OddsMonkey and other sites. I have watched the videos and understand the basic concept, but then I am lost. I don't want to make mistakes and lose money.

Joining please!! I started mb mid January, £360 profit now. Just started the SMarkets offer, risk free Premier League bets and getting antsy... I had bet on my team to win and they lost today but haven't had the £10 credit... Is that normal? Does it take a while? Or could I have screwed it up with the odds being too low or something? I didn't see an odds requirement but might have missed it...

Sorry, correction, they didn't lose, they drew. So I lost my £10 stake on them to win but haven't been credited.

I only had 4 bets on today, two bet club, a trigger and a £5 fb. I wanted to do the Unibet offer but for reasons unknown it wouldn’t put my card deposit through. Oh well. February has been a dead month for me. Profits are low and I’m either not seeing or not acting on enough offers. Ho hum.

Got gubbed by Racebets part way through the welcome offer so now have to wager a further £40 at SP only before I can withdraw. Glad I don't take the full bonus and stuck with just £20. They are apparently notorious for gubbing almost immediately.

There's good offer on at BGO, 200 free spins and no wager requirement. It costs 50p to deposit and £2.50 to withdraw. You don't need to use the slots it says below. There's a list of about 4 to choose from when you get the bonus.

Just tried my first casino deal at Ladbrokes - £10 deposit and play for a £2 sports bet plus 20 free spins with no wagering. We'll see. I'm not down on my initial deposit, but scared of the wagering requirements on the 'casino welcome offer' I've just got at £50. Oh well. I don't really know what I'm doing

I looked at the BGO website last night but all I can see is a matched deposit welcome bonus of up to £200 with wagering of x40. Is this what you guys have aigned up to or did you bypass that, use the code at the deposit stage and get Crazy’s offer?

No you don't need to use the deposit first. You can just use the free spins then withdraw any winnings plus the original £10. There is a £2.50 charge to withdraw.

Wager your BGO deposits (blackjack or roulette). They're good for reload offers if you do so. In fact you don't even need to wager your whole deposit, just half.

I have just started MB and am taking it very very slowly. I am following the Team Profit instructions and did the first bet with Coral and got my free bets no problem.

Then did a bet with BetFred again following instructions to the letter. This was yesterday afternoon. So far my free bets are not showing up so am worrying that for some reason I am not getting them. The Coral ones showed up as soon as I placed my bet.

I only bet £10 on BetFred so not the end of the world but I really don't want to be losing money

Another question which I feel is really stupid so don't really want to ask on Team Profit.

Do any of you use the Team Profit spreadsheet? I have watched the tutorial and decided to use it but I can only get a blank spreadsheet! Surely the whole idea is to get the one shown in the tutorial with all the bookmakers etc listed?

That amazing BGO offer is finished btw. Lots of unhappy people on Team Profit! But I managed a welcome offer of 50 free spins, which netted me £6.70 profit so I'm happy enough Smile

BGO offer ... help! It could only happen to me! I registered and deposited using fb100 as above. It gave me 10 free spins for providing my mobile number but I cannot see anything, anywhere about 200 free spins. What should have happened? If I play Fin & Swirly it will start using my money. Aaargh.

Also mydogisthebest you are laying your bets on an exchange (betfair or smarkets), right? You shouldn't be losing £10, but a qualifying loss of anywhere between 10p to say £1, once exchange and bookie have settled. Check Ts and Cs, and also try putting something in the betslip and see if an option to pay with bonus funds comes up - they can be tricky little blighters to find on different sites!
