I know there have been numerous threads on this topic, but I have struggled to understand how to go about getting started. The more I read about it the more overwhelmed I become. Spreadsheets, separate bank accounts , odds, blah blah . It may as well be quantum mechanics!
I need the money for a specific reason so I need to get to grips with it all and get started. I am an intelligent person, I just need to persevere.
I would really appreciate some very basic advice. I know about OddsMonkey and other sites. I have watched the videos and understand the basic concept, but then I am lost. I don't want to make mistakes and lose money.
Help!

I would recommend avoiding over complicating things by not focusing on how you can do this long term as those types are offers are more complex and will just confuse you. Trust it is possible though as many have done it and the guides are there when you need them.

I would just start with the simple bet x get y offers and the more you do them, the more it will sink in and then you can move on to other types of offers.

Hi all. Tentatively hopping on the bandwagon. Signed up last night on coral and bet fair after watching the profit accumulator, got my free bets which I've just placed today on the Ipswich match. Think I f*d up slightly as I placed my £20 free coral bets but due to the liability stake on betfair only placed a £15 lay bet. Should all come out in the wash and I think I've only lost a fiver free bet? Not sure how it'll work out but too late now.

Can I withdraw immediately from betfair after the match if I need the money back? Still a week away from payday but I wanted to start Blush

AllGoodDogs · 13/02/2019 13:28

Are there any decent FB groups to join to help me along?

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/02/2019 13:39

Team profits meant to be good on Facebook.

I used my 200 free bingo tickets on heart and won nothing!.

outreach29 · 13/02/2019 13:48

that's bad luck for you @Fluffy Sad So much for RTP of 60%

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/02/2019 16:27

I was clearly in the 40% today!

Golden0ldie · 13/02/2019 17:20

Not so goid Fluffy.

Okay, knowledgeable people. I have withdrawn my winning from Unibet (took 10 mins to hit my bank account!) and now have a £10 casino bonus to spend (wagering is x35). What donI do? Slots or games? How donI tell which slots are best. I have read OM, several times, but it’s going over my head at the moment. I think I was max lines on the slit for low pence? Would Blackjack be better?

Golden0ldie · 13/02/2019 17:50

Oh my goodness, the typos! I clearly wasn’t watching what I was doing!

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/02/2019 18:15

Blackjacks better for wagering. Just make sure you know a hard hand from a soft hand. I didn’t 🤦🏻‍♀️

titchy · 13/02/2019 18:20

General rule of thumb - wagering a bonus, play £1 spins on a highish variance slot (Koi, GunS and Roses, Gonzo). You're hoping for a big win early on to carry you through wagering requirement. Expect to bust out 90% of the time. Wagering your own cash - blackjack or routlette if possible, otherwise a low variance, high rtp slot (golden tour, foxin, blood suckers).

DonkeyScramble · 13/02/2019 19:11

I'm loving blackjack. Won on BOB again today but it was split 3 ways so only £9 each. Still in profit though.

ChakiraChakra · 13/02/2019 19:21

35x wagering is huge!(how do you know if a shout is high or low variance?)

Fluffycloudland77 · 13/02/2019 19:24

Google it. I go for low variance high rtp.

Golden0ldie · 13/02/2019 22:41

Thanks titchy and fluffy ... I did the suggested slots, won a few pounds and bust out.

BlockRockinBeats · 14/02/2019 02:45

Hi everyone.

Just joining the thread after reading about MB on the 'Make £10 a day thread'.

Started last week and have used a few sign up offers so far. Joined Profit Accumulator yesterday as I found their training videos really helpful. Plus their odds matcher and calculator are easy to use.

It is such a steep learning curve and is really giving me headaches with all the reading and concentrating! I'll update on my progress soon once I know where I am up to.

miltonroad · 14/02/2019 17:50

Mecca’s down to only pound rooms now 😕

DonkeyScramble · 14/02/2019 21:50

I am so cross! Was doing the Tonybet offer (deposit and wager £200 x10 times at odds 1.65+ for a £200 free bet). After 3 trigger bets they have restricted my account - they won't tell me the max odds I can bet with but I tried 1.82 and that failed. I suspect they've put it to 1.65 but I'm cutting my losses as a free bet at such low odds won't cover the QL from the 10 bets. I'm £20 down but better to exit now rather than throw more money at it. I've told them I'm reporting them to the Gambling Commission but I think I'm supposed to formally complain to the bookie first. Bastards.

Gammeldragz · 14/02/2019 22:42

Wow @DonkeyScramble, I'd be furious! I think I ignored that sign up as it sounded like way too much hassle, glad I did.

I messed up a boost earlier and lost £15, but profit on casino means I'm still over £70 up for the day. On £1k for the month at the moment (mostly casino).

DonkeyScramble · 14/02/2019 23:35

How do you make so such on casino? Are you risking your money? I did the welcome offers but only play the daily free games now.

Gammeldragz · 15/02/2019 07:25

Yes, I do low risk mainly but it is still risk. I'm comfortable the maths is on my side and it's going pretty well, I have made over £8k so I have the bank to handle it. I have had £100 down days but very rarely.

Menarefrommarsitwouldseem · 15/02/2019 08:48

Casino is something I would like to find out more about

Reading the forums on PA and OM, along with here. The big profits are made there.

thefavourite · 15/02/2019 08:50

I am still trucking on, and on track to make £115+ this week, possibly more if there are any free bet offers over the weekend. Mostly due to the Bet365 welcome offer, which I am sad to have nearly completed!

In terms of welcome offers, so far I have done Bet365, Coral, Paddy Power, William Hill, 888Sport, K8, Skybet, Betstars, betway, Moplay, Betfred, Ladbrokes, Grosvenor, Genting, Bet Victor, Betfair, Smarkets and downloaded Kwiff (but didn't bet as odds were so poor). Any tips for most lucrative ones to do now? I have a good bankroll. I can check TP and OM but wanted some tips from those slightly ahead of me!

I did 2up this week on the CL but didn't make anything (just a small QL) - even though my team went 2up they went on to win and the second goal was so late it the match that I couldn't lay the back bet on the Exchange (was halted).

Sukochicha · 15/02/2019 10:38

Guys TonyBet is not a recommended offer.

Please check out Oddsmoneky 'offers to take caution with' and take caution with what you sign up to.

Sukochicha · 15/02/2019 10:39

That is a free access guide BTW

Menarefrommarsitwouldseem · 15/02/2019 11:37

I have finally got to grips with the opening offers hurrah.
I much prefer profit accumulator too so that's really helped.

I have lots of bookies still to hit so I'm not top stressed about how to continue this to generate a regular income. I will get there and I've gone from it taking me 10 minutes to put on a bet. To 2 minutes which is more like it

I used the sky £10 and 5 free spins this morning and now I'm £70 up on that alone. However, I can see how it could become addictive.

Does anyone know the BOB code for today please?
