I know there have been numerous threads on this topic, but I have struggled to understand how to go about getting started. The more I read about it the more overwhelmed I become. Spreadsheets, separate bank accounts , odds, blah blah . It may as well be quantum mechanics!
I need the money for a specific reason so I need to get to grips with it all and get started. I am an intelligent person, I just need to persevere.
I would really appreciate some very basic advice. I know about OddsMonkey and other sites. I have watched the videos and understand the basic concept, but then I am lost. I don't want to make mistakes and lose money.

I hit the casinos last night and made an easy £90 across a few of them. Slots are pretty addictive though.

I'm really struggling with ACCAs - I'm fine doing it when the exchange has an ACCA market but building them myself is tricky as I can't get the logic of laying it. I did one sequentially and the lay odds changed for the 2nd leg so I updated that in the calculator but have no idea if I ended up in profit. The guides all talk about only 1 leg losing but some offers just say 'lose' so is that any number of legs losing?

I did the Mecca bingo refund on BOB. Spent £5, won £15.80 so £10.80 for literally minutes of work. Full house was £48 but it was split as several people won it.

It’s gone straight to cash too. £12 cashback at topcashback too and I should get a bonus too.

It’s a Mecca bingo room, everyone’s allowed 10 cards at 25p each. At the moment if you lose £10 they refund it as cash the next day.

I won £15.80 minus £5 stake. So no refund but I’m £10.80 up. It’s every night for about 3 weeks.

A good friend told me about MB and then came round and spent a few hours with me, showing me the ropes I'm 4 days in and £80 in profit. All football, and one rugby. I'm hoping to make £600+ a month. I can't get my head around the horses, or slots or bingo etc but I just keep telling myself I couldn't get my head around any of it a week ago and I'm doing okay.

I appear to be doing it all incredibly slowly Blush it takes me ages to get my head around and set up one or two offers a day, so I'm doing around £6-12 per day. I've only got three bookies, too, I haven't got around to doing any new welcome offers because the bookies are sending so many reloads! Still I guess there's no race. Annoyed I won quite a bit to will hill recently, so that's a sizeable chunk of my bankroll I'm waiting on withdrawing into my own bank 😒 still, sat and went through bank transactions yesterday, so I am confident I know where what money is.

I think this is where a larger bankroll is helpful Chakira. I have a few hundred £££ now spread between various bookies & exchanges. I am not loaded (by any stretch of the imagination), about £400 or so of that is profit and the rest is money I won't need from various places for a few weeks (by which time my profits will hopefully have increased so I can withdraw that and just play with my profits).

It's the end of my first month on Wednesday and I am going to tally up everything then. I am hopeful of having made around £400-£450 minus £19 for OM membership fees. I am going to use Smarkets and Betdaq more going forwards as my 0% commission with Betfair will come to an end. I got a free commission Betdaq sign up thing pop up on OM yesterday.

I have sold my shares on T212 and just waiting on being able to withdraw my money. I'm not sure how to do it though!

I'm £174 in profit having started on Friday. I'm trying to juggle money. I have about £300 invested at the moment. I've taken out where I can. I want to get to the point where all investment is profit. I've got a Google Sheet tracking deposits and withdrawals. Honestly a week ago I was thinking "arghh, I can't get my head around this" and now I'm pretty comfortable with it: although I've only done free bets on football. Not ventured into anything else yet.

Well done you two. I finished the Oddsmonkey Smarkets offer yesterday (premier league team offer). OM reckon around £35+ profit from it and I netted a nice £39 so am happy with that. Waiting on cash coming back in from bookies to allow me do more new account offers and still contemplating bingo!! Jan profit was around £235 which I’m okay with. Haven’t been doing it daily and have spent much time waiting on money to move from a to b.

I ended the evening at £225 profit and I only started on Friday. I had my Bet365 free bets settle tonight (£100 for a £100).
