Anti MLM/ Network marketing thread NUMBER 43!!

Spongebobette · 29/09/2018 18:17

This is the 43rd thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, TS Life, and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs
Over 90% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

  1. Business start ups are high but the quality low and fall out high of these as everyone is fed up of FL
  2. They can manipulate there bottom line so I presume they have done that figure to show they have made a higher profit so all is good. They could just as easily showed a loss if they wanted.
  3. As for the assets - they have always been high as no reason for the family to take out reserves as family are so damned rich

BP must be bricking himself #short shelf life left

Spotted: Yawn BFF and fellow bot manning a stall in a Costa situated in a parking lot behind a supermarket. The mighty are certainly being forced to go back to basics. In fairness they weren't being pushy at all. I half expected them to swoop in on mums with their babies, but they didn't. Although they did hand out free samples and business cards. No real chat though.

user1484830599 · 02/10/2018 11:14

Wow, taken actually gave out some of her holy grail business cards? I thought she was only giving them out to people who impressed her

user1484830599 · 02/10/2018 11:14

Taken? I mean yawn obvs. Bloody autocorrect.

RelativePitch · 02/10/2018 11:19

No it was Yawn BFF! She's generally considered to be the nicer one. Although she utterly hoodwinked my friend a couple of years ago by showing off her then flashy house (rented of course). My friend clearly made no money and has regrettably moved to Inteletravel where sadly she is recruiting at an alarming rate. Needless to say we're not really friends anymore.

user1484830599 · 02/10/2018 11:20

Ah sorry I misread.

That's very sad about your friend.

RelativePitch · 02/10/2018 11:25

My friend got into it at a vulnerable time in her life. In fact disgustingly she was approached by someone who worked part time in a fertility clinic. My friend was single, childless and a difficult birthday coming up and wanted to know where she was at bioligically speaking and therefore went to this fertility clinic where She poured her heart out and revealed her Why. She got recruited and quickly introduced to Yawn BFF.

user1484830599 · 02/10/2018 11:27

That is really disgusting. These people have no depths, they do seem to prey on the most vulnerable.

Paddy1234 · 02/10/2018 11:28

I would imagine a lot of the bots are reading this thread to get the ins and outs of the companies accounts as it is so informative

I was only 2m out on my forecast and would think that next years level is going to be around 23/4m which is 2009 sales. No chairmans bonus for that level of sales except Bloodsucker as she has diversified into Africa

Paddy1234 · 02/10/2018 11:41

Thanks Dora!
27k in one month - wow the drop is insane!

PopPopRadio · 02/10/2018 12:31

Started listening to The Dream today. Thanks for the recommendation. Apart from how well done the research is, the production values are excellent. It's a really enjoyable listen.

SSDGM · 02/10/2018 13:02

That thread has been deleted @OrchardGreen was a bot trying to recruit?

Electrascoffee · 02/10/2018 13:06

I am glad to see these threads are still going. I once posted asking about buying something from NuSkin and then found out it's MLM. I think the Nu Skin bots must have posted because it got deleted.

These companies really are a nightmare- they suck in vulnerable people. To get new recruits 'to build their business' they often drive all day. And then they pretend that you can do it all from your sofa!

Electrascoffee · 02/10/2018 13:19

Yes nobody makes any money from selling the products. They only make money by recruiting other people.

Paddy1234 · 02/10/2018 14:07

My pastime at the moment is looking at all the bots doing coaching and seeing them engage with everyone who comments on a post - they must have been to the same training session that told them to do it #engagement to sucker them in - like a spiders web
Homeschool bot and former Welsh down line obviously have been influenced by the chief God at the moment FB - who is a twat of the first order

notsurewhatshappening · 02/10/2018 14:10

Funny that the number of managers is quite pyramid shaped.

Paddy1234 · 02/10/2018 14:13

Hopefully O'Dodgey mindset trainer is on way out but the new boy on the block is infinately more annoying

PerryPerryThePlatypus · 02/10/2018 14:25

@BangingOn there is a problem with certain bank accounts in Ireland today so Messiah is probably shiteing on about that.

SSDGM · 02/10/2018 14:42

Broke is back.

BangingOn · 02/10/2018 15:09

Perry thank you, that makes sense. I thought that was utter drivel, even for Messiah.

Orchardgreen · 02/10/2018 15:25

SSDGM

Yes, asking for people to join her in an on line travel agent, all training given etc etc. I posted asking her if is MLM but then it got pulled.
